They are refusing to pay a claim for a medication that is part of an ongoing condition. They are saying it is a new claim so subject to a new deductible. I can't reach anyone to talk to. The phone number says "go to the website. Goodbye." and hangs up

Their claim response time has gone from…
Their claim response time has gone from acceptable to poor. Pets Best is now issuing a new claim number after the original claim number is not processed in approx. 2 weeks. They then process the new claim number, which complies with their response time criteria. What a joke!

Can't cancel - not worth the money
I purchased 3 policies for my two dogs and one cat. At the time of purchasing my cat's policy I decided to add a wellness plan since he would be getting neutered soon. It only made sense financially to opt in to the wellness plan if I were able to cancel it after his neuter procedure was complete. I was careful to research that I would be able to cancel the wellness plan before adding it to his policy, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased the wellness plan to begin with. My diligent online research confirmed that I would be able to cancel the wellness plan and keep the accident/illness insurance. 3 months later, after spending $1,400 to cover all three pets, I am unable to remove the wellness plan online so I call in. The customer service agent told me that they don't permit cancellation of the wellness plan until the policy renewal (1 year) which differs from the information I found on their website prior to purchasing the wellness plan. This situation leaves me in a predicament, as I am now obligated to continue paying $57 per month for a wellness plan that no longer serves its purpose. The reimbursement from Pets Best for the neuter procedure was minimal compared to the actual cost I paid the vet, making this experience feel like a significant financial burden and a disheartening waste of money. I urge you to review and rectify this policy discrepancy to ensure that future customers are provided with accurate information before making crucial decisions about their insurance plans. Transparency and integrity in your policies are essential for building trust with your clientele. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and hope for a swift resolution to avoid any further inconvenience.

The initial submissions took a while to get done and it seemed like the same information was being asked for multiple times. I too am at fault as I wasn’t sure of their process. The invoice after that was smooth sailing. The response via email was always very prompt. I would certainly recommend them.

Amazing coverage, but premium goes up quickly!
I have had both my cats on insurance since they were just over a year old, and the rates were very reasonable! In the last year, I have had to make 1 claim for each of them, and I was extremely pleased that in both situations I did not encounter any difficulties or surprises! In both situations, the instructions about the documents I needed to provide were very clear, and I received all the money I expected back in both situations. I'm so glad I jumped on insurance while they were young, because this year one of my cats developed a very fast tooth infection that spread through her whole mouth, and required an extensive dental surgery (which involved a dental surgery that cost over $3,000). I was very pleased when I saw that literally everything pertaining to the surgery (including the diagnostics/tests they needed to run when the infection was discovered) all went toward my deductible and reimbursement. There was not a single surprise or item that wasn't covered and I got my expected 90% reimbursement (after deductible). Highly recommend getting your pets an insurance policy with Fetch as soon as you can! Please be aware that as your pet ages (and as you go making claims), your pet's premium will increase - one of my cat's premium went from $240 in 2022-2023, to $411 in 2023-2024 (after I made 1 $700 for him)... so we will see what happens to my other cat's premium after his year's dental surgery claim...
