Bloody stool and vomit
My Frenchie unexpectedly had bloody vomit and stool which eventually turned into acid. There was no change in her routine and when she began to look lethargic, we took her in. My first thought was to ask the emergency vet what the initial screening cost was ($225) in addition to all possible treatments, but with insurance I trusted Pets Best to take care of the cost. My husband and I are so grateful to have insurance to cover any random emergencies like this for our fur baby. She is now well in recover and getting our claim processed so quickly was such a stress reliever for us.

Healthy Paws is Wonderful
Healthy Paws is a wonderful service. Very prompt with claims. The insurance coverage is fair and the policies are clear. I enrolled my dog when he was a puppy, and he came down with an autoimmune disease when we he was one years old. I could not have given him the care he needs without Healthy Paws.

My Frenchie with IVDD
This was the second time I have needed to file a claim for my Frenchie, Twinkie who was diagnosed with IVDD. She underwent surgery both times and the claim process was seamless and reimbursement was quick. I am thankful to Pets Best for helping me save my Twinkie.

Still do not believe itn to repair said inn
Pets Plus Us saved us over $55000 over two Bernese Mountain Dogs between 2022 and the present. The first Bernese Mayday became ill with cancer of the spinal cord. She was 4 years old and was given 4 months to live. She started radio therapy (6 sessions) along with chemotherapy. After approximately six months was given a clean bill of health REMISSION! About 9 months later the cancer returned and we were back into chemo. Mayday did six more rounds of chemo and unfortunately succumbed to the disease. Pets plus Us reimboursed us 80% for her treatment.
Last spring our other Bernese Stella tore a ligament in her back left leg and after several months of treatment was operated on to repair the injury. At the same time she was diagnosed with an enlarged gall bladder and needed to be seen by another specialist with follow up. All of these treatments were covered under our policy with Pets Plus U
Leave it to say that the cost of the insurance has been covered many time over and that our furry friends have been well treated with the help of their insurance.
WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT

Absolutely Necessary
Getting pet insurance is not an expense that most people want to pay for. But my 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog has had some health issues the past few months, that have resulted in $12k+ of vert bills since last October. If it wasn't for having Pet Plus Us, I don't think Lou would still be around! So I am very grateful. They are quick to return with a response, and quick to refund the money that I have had to pay up front. I would recommend to anyone!
