It's paid for itself!
Healthy Paws is a great insurer for both my rescued greyhounds that were racer's in Tijuana, MX. I've insure them since their adoptions. Overall the price is reasonable and does increase with the age of the pet, not the number of claims. My male has developed 2 autoimmune diseases and sees a Dermatologist and an Internist. He's also had a dog attack along with other mishaps requiring emergency care and surgeries. Overall the claim process is a snap and I'm reimbursed direct deposit in 1 - 2 days. I couldn't be happier!

Skip it. Not worth the $$
As my dogs were aging, I got the insurance, trying to be financially responsible. One of the worst financial decisions I've made. I've spent over $6k for two dogs in 3 years; the premiums increase each year. AND they denied the ONE claim I submitted, for my dog's euthanasia. It's a scam.

Please stay away from Pets Best I insurance
Pet’s worst insurance.
You pay Les for policy but you had nothing in return.
They find way to reject your claim.
Please don’t waist your time and money- stay away from this insurance company.

Best Insurance out there
I've signed up all my cats for ASPCA insurance.
The system is very easy to use, claims are easily submitted and it's always a pleasure working with them.
ASPCA has me for life, I will continue to donate and use them as insurance providers for my awesome cats and future cats.

So far-So good
After the first year of our dog’s life I realized I’d better get pet health insurance. He suffered from weird allergies and I read that Irish Wolfhounds can be prone to strange illnesses and early death. I chose ASPCA because the premiums seemed fair. I decided on paying a little extra for the 90% back. All I can say is that this company has been there for us every time he’s had weird lumps or hurt paws or infections. You see, having a 200 lbs. dog, vet bills are much much higher. There is at least 3 times the amount of medication needed. I don’t have the maintenance kind of insurance but this company has been there for us every time he’s been sick or injured. He will be 5 years old soon and I will never be without ASPCA.

I would Not recommend this insurance
Pets best insurance should be called Pets Worst.
Takes month to review your claims and reject with no valid reason. Appeal takes another 2 months.
Please save your time and money and don’t sign for this insurance!

DO NOT PURCHASE PET INSURANCE WITH THIS PETTY COMPANY
hey take long to approve claims, nickel and dime you, there's now a deductible PLUS a co-pay for every claim. Guess what, their appeals process sucks as well, I provided enough back up, context, and a heartfelt letter explaining why I put a vet visit on a payment plan with zero % interest offered by @vca and how it's not any difference if I had put the cost of the visit on a credit card while I submitted the claim.
STAY AWAY, Run away.

Great Insurance...
My pup had to have eye surgery to remove his eye. I called to see if they cover this procedure and hey told me that it would be covered and that put my mind at ease. The people at Met Life were quick to respond and very courteous. The claim was reimbursed quickly. Would recommend this company for all your fur-babies. Thank you, Met Life for taking care of Andy.
