Hard Times Made a Little Easier
Our 2-year old Frenchie, Chloe, was treated for a bad UTI on a Monday and was responding well to treatment, then woke up blind on Friday. A trip to the emergency vet, a MRI and tests of blood and brain fluid ruled out some causes, leaving us with only other terrible remaining outcomes - all forms of encephalitis. After an overnight stay at the hospital and an IV chemo treatment, Chloe got vision back in one eye. Now she's taking steroids and we're enjoying each day that she gives us - happy, playful and pain free. Our vet submitted a claim for the UTI diagnosis and treatment and the emergency vet completed one claim for all of the hospital care. Embrace handled everything with no drama for me...we've had enough drama already. Chloe is my 3rd dog with Embrace health insurance and I'm fortunate that she's the 1st to need more than a Wellness Rewards reimbursement.

claims not paying enough for senior citizens
cost of surgeries etc. don't meet near enough for what senior citizens have to pay. I have heard that other insurance companies pay higher however I do not know what they pay monthly for the insurance.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is Truly There When You Need It!
When my husband and I decided to get a French Bulldog puppy, we know that we would need health insurance for him. Frenchies, although they appear to be hearty animals, can be prone to allergies and some other ailments. I did my homework and compared premiums and benefits of several different insurance companies. I chose Healthy Paws because of its ease of use and its reasonable reimbursement policy. My decision has proven to be a good one. In his two years, Herschel has had allergy testing and a few common illnesses. Healthy Paws reimbursed all of the visits except for routine wellness at 80%, Last week, Herschel unfortunately had a herniated disk, which required emergency surgery. Once again, Healthy Paws came through and quickly reimbursed 80% of the surgical costs and all of the exams medical care. We highly recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owner who wants the ability to provide needed medical care to his/her pet without worrying about the cost.

We love Trupanion
After losing our first Norwich Terrier to UAS and the treatment we received from a well known company leaving us with vet bills that required mortgaging our home we have been so happy with Trupanion. The policy is clear. I know what to expect from them. There is never a problem and everyone treats me like a friend and really cares about me and my Norwich babies. One representative talked me through a meltdown when I found out my 10 year old twin soul had cancer. I will never forget her. I cannot say enough good things about Trupanion.
