I have always been skeptical with pet insurance due to coverage. I know I eventually had to get it for Nike as he is getting older. I am glad I did because just recently we’ve been having to take Nike to the vet because of skin issues. He also just had a procedure done. As all pet owners know, veterinary expenses are not cheap but as a pet owner, you want the best treatment for your dog. I know for me, I wanted to get Nike the best care. With the expenses piling up, I am relieved that Nationwide covered 90% of the cost after my $250 deductible. Knowing they have been on my side through this process has been a great relief, for me and my pockets. I am very happy with the coverage and handling the claims through the app. Easy as one-two-three and receive the response in just less than a week. This insurance have been very beneficial for me and Nike. I have never been happier to have an insurance company who wants what’s best for your pets.

Captain Ahab's last stand
as expected there was no activity on my 2 year account until the end, Captain got suddenly sick in October and even though we tried to fix him, he declined quickly and had to be euthanized in November. Submitting my claims was easy, I haven't had any customer service issues to even comment on. I have not yet been paid, but the process takes a few weeks, it isn't December as of this review.

Peace of minds worth every penny
This policy has offered such a peace of mind when handling wellness and sick visits. The reimbursement process is quick and easy, and so far we haven’t run into any issues. We think so highly of it, we actually just got our cat her own policy!

A breathe of fresh air!
I am very happy I was recommended to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance from my supervisor at work. He said they are a godsend and after getting insured and then finally having to use the insurance, yes, I can see why Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is an angel in disguise. What happened: My 2 year old German Shepherd chipped her tooth while playing (it was totally mine fault how she chipped her tooth). I called up Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and they were VERY helpful, friendly, and understanding. I ended up getting a root canal for my baby girl and after filing the claim, which was SUPER easy, I received my payout and I honestly cannot believe how painless it was. Well, painless for me. I am sure my puppy (she will always be my baby puppy furever!) appreciated getting her tooth fixed. She had to wait about a month and a half before she had her surgery due to the wait list for her vet. Although she did not exhibit any discomfort, I was getting concerned if she felt any pain. Nonetheless, what a breathe of fresh air. No more stinky dog breath as she is able to brush her teeth again!! Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, we love you lots and you will woofinitely be a part of our family for many years to come.
