Take your money and run because that’s what this company will do to you. Every emergency claim I put in is denied. They make up excuses saying my deductible ($150) is higher. The bill comes out to over $200 I think I’ve met the deductible and should be covered at this time…. NOPE! I’ve paid more money out of my pocket with this insurance than ever. They will never help your pets or your wallet. Typical insurance company.

Metlife Pet Insurance makes it super easy to upload claims in an efficient manner. Payment from Metlife is also easy as Zelle is used. So, the gap between submitting a claim and receiving payment is usually super quick. Also, compared to other pet insurance plans, Metlife offers reimbursement for a lot of conditions and procedures.

It’s probably too soon for me to make a fair assessment. The staff are wonderful people to communicate with, but so far I have been very frustrated with the reimbursement process. Also, as helpful as the staff might be, there doesn’t seem to be much communication between departments, which causes me to have to resubmit information. I know that it is necessary that they receive details on the doctor visit to process claims, but I am still waiting to receive any reimbursement for care. I will look further into what I may be doing wrong, and give it some more time
