Not happy with this insurance!
I will not recommend Trupanion. Not one of my recent claims was accepted for payment. I am thinking of cancelling this insurance at the end of the month. Disappointed!

Extremely fast claim payment!
My dog Seelie was diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to a leaky mitral valve when he was 5 years old, had insurance with Trupanion since he was about 3. He's now 9, takes six different medications, has regular evaluations with a veterinary cardiologist, and has fantastic quality of life. I don't have to worry about being able to pay for his care with Trupanion; every single claim (and there are a lot of them) is paid fully and quickly. He had a full work-up with the cardiologist last week: ultrasound, x-rays, etc. The bill came to over $1300. I submitted the claim online to Trupanion... over $1100 was deposited into my account two or three days later. It doesn't get much better than that!
