Wow for peace of mind

I have been with this pet insurance company for more than 10 years. I have Nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about them. My Saint Bernard Pandora seemed to always be the kid needing treatment. I have filed several claims over the years & the last one being just a week ago. Pandora had to go to ER vet over the weekend before the holidays & the bill was $2300.00. She didnt eat for couple of days & then had bloody diarrea. My poor baby needed IV fluids & test after test to see what the problem was. She had ultra sound, blood work & many other things. Was called Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis. Thankfully 2 days later she was able to come home & is now 100% better. I knew once I filled the claim it was a short time before getting credit for a chunk of the bill. Filled last Sat & 5 days later It was complete. Wow, is what this company are all about. They do have caps on most things that are concidered resonable cost for each State but do a Very good job at paying out & explaining every detail of the bill. I knew going to ER vet I sellected was way more expensive than some but I knew I was getting the quality of care for my dog so took her there not the cheaper closer place. They paid over $1600 for the claim so I was Very pleased. I have the 80/20 plan, I pay 20% they pay 80% of what is resonable costs. It is with Great custumer service & payout that I reccomend this company above all others to all my friends & clients I meet. I am a pet sitter & dog walk

Always polite and helpful.

Our two Great Danes were playing when I noticed RED on the neck of Mister,our Harlequin. Apparently Guido's tooth caught in Mister's neck folds and made a 3 inch gash. Of course this happen on the weekend. Our Vet put in a couple staples and a couple days later put Mister on antibiotics. Our claim was handled quickly. Jeana,the ASPCA rep., called and asked about Mister. That was so kind and thoughtful. Please let her know how much we appreciated this personalized care.

Wellness Plan and Insurance

I am a new dog owner, with no previous experience whatsoever. I found about Embrace on the internet, and after researching against other option in the marketplace, I decided to enroll. So far the service has been outstanding, following always via emails. I used the wellness plan for vaccination, and in less than a week I received notification of the reimbursement.

Outstanding Insurance

Before I received my pet I researched my insurance policy and this one was the best they are very friendly and knowledgeable as my Dog suffered from pancreases disease and take meds now and all the claims I have sent in were honored and was very easy to file I would recommend this insurance to anybody who has a pet

Nicest insurance company ever!

Had VPI for many years. They were painfully slow and nit picked everything. Then they have a payment schedule that is not realistic. I switched to Healthy Paws. Best move I made. They reimburse you 90% of what your vet charges. There is no schedule . There are no caps on lifetime payments. You pay one annual $200 deductible and then they pay 90% of what your vet charged you. I send in my claim by email and it is processed within the hour! How amazing is that? VPI would take weeks to process your claim. Yes, the premiums are a little higher, but as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for". With healthy paws you certainly get your money's worth and the people there are the nicest as we'll.

Prompt Response

Pet was lethargic, trembling, running high fever and had to be taken to emergency clinic. IV brought fever down but within a day fever was back. Think problem was tick related and put on medication for 30 days. Back to normal very quickly. Claim Faxed to Embrace from Emergency Vet and check in mail within week.

First time buying pet insurance.

I got a new kitten and after having a cat that adopted me and ended up having type 2 diabetes and insulin shots twice a day, I thought I should look in to it. I have wellness on 3 of my babies and accident on my two youngest and I am very happy so far! I fax my bills and they send me checks very quickly- no issues so far, love it and recommending Embrace to my friends and family.

Outstanding

My cat was first diagnosed with a mast cell tumor requiring diagnostic testing and fairly extensive surgery by a specialist as it was on her lip. Then 5 months later after that, she had a bout of enteritis that required testing to diagnose, and a 24 hour stay of supportive care at the ER vet. Having Healthy Paws allowed us to do what we needed to do for her medically without stressing as much about the financial aspects of getting her the care she needed. They cover exactly what they say they will cover; no hidden surprises. They processed my claims within 24 hrs of me submitting it to them, and there was a check in my mailbox within one week, and even e-mailed me after each incident to see how she was doing. Their monthly premiums are affordable and bring so much peace of mind as I have come to find out!

VERY PLEASED WITH SERVICE

I have never taken insurance out on my animals before, but when I adopted this cat and was told by the vet her breed although probably not pure. The details of the policy and at her young age I thought I would give it a try. When she became ill was glad I had. The promptness of looking after the claim has impressed me.
