My first claim experience is great

I had just recently filed my first claim with Embrace and it was handled fast and professionally. I received confirmation e-mail, that they received my claim and also received a summary and detail explanation on how the claim was handled. The representative was very friendly and helpful

My experience with ASPCAPet insurance

Dear Customer Service: I have been very pleased with your pet insurance so far. The claims that I have had to file have been attended to promptly. I have also been very pleased with the reimbursements. I have told all my friends who have pets about your company. I also encourage anyone who is considering obtaining pet insurance for their animals, to contact your company before making a final decision. I also think you should contact veterinarians and send them your brochures to put in their offices, as that is how I originally found out about you. Thanks, again, for being there for my three dogs. Paying Claims

I have a 7 mo old yellow lab she got really sick just before thanksgiving. I had her originaly at Mass Vet Referal Hosp, in Woburn Ma, then I had her to my vet 4 times over the next 10 days running test and whatever. All together my bills totaled almost 1500.00 after submitting all the claims I paid I recieved checks totaling 760.00.The Ins. Co says on their Web site "#1 Does the Company pay based on your vet bills? Find out how your pet insurance reimbursements will be determined.Some companies pay a percentage of your veterinary bills,while others pay only a fixed amount based on a benefit schedule. We pay 80% of allowable covered veterinary charges,BECAUSE WE BELIEVE YOU SHOULD BE REIMBUURSED BASED ON YOUR ACTUAL VETERINARY BILLS". Well guess what, thats not how they pay they take the AVERAGE VET bill from the area I was told "we take all the claims such as an office visit and determine what the average cost in the area is". They have an average for everything, well isn't that a schedule, if you have a list of how much you payout isn't that a benefit schedule? I think all the ticked off clients should get together and sue them on the grounds of false advertising.

Excellent

I never thought I'd find myself taking the time to write this but Embrace thoroughly deserves the effort. My dog has had a number of claims over the past 2 years. On every occasion Embrace has very efficiently, speedily and helpfully answered my questions, processed the claims and paid the money. I cannot recommend them enough.

Best coverage ever

I was extremely pleased with Pets Best insurance from day one. I adopted my beloved Molly when she was 7 years old & insured her within the first 6 months to make sure she was still eligible. Because of her age, the "accident & illness" coverage was around $40 per month. For the last 3 years, I barely used it, but in the last 4 months I was certainly glad I had it. She was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, had her spleen removed, went blind as a result of the cancer & went on oral chemotherapy drugs. Unfortunately, we lost the battle in November 2009 & she had to be put to sleep. Her surgery alone cost $4000 out of pocket & I got reimbursed for 80% of that! Even her chemo drugs (which I had to buy at Walgreens) was covered at 80%. Needless to say, I well surpassed the premium costs for all 3 1/2 years of premium costs in my reimbursements. Best investment I ever made! Their personal touch at her passing was very nice too. They sent an email when I cancelled the policy with their condolences & about 2 weeks following I received a very nice sympathy card with a message that a donation had been made in her memory to a humane society charity. When I get another dog, I will definitely use Pets Best again.

life time maximum limits

rescued my shihtzu x when she was 5 1/2 and had no knowledge of her medical history.Vet convinced me to purchase insurance & was very greatful for that as medical problems started almost immediately. Petcare was great, usually had my cheque prior to receiving credit card statement which I use for payment. Have been with them for 11 years & would rate them a 10. Unfortunately in 2008 she was diagnosed with diabetes & bills were mounting up quickly & very expensive. I was then advised by Petcare that I had reached my lifetime limit for this disease & other effects caused by the diabetes. Premiums were increased dramatically but coverage for the disease ceased. I have since discovered that there are plans with "No" lifetime limit & would strongly encourage people considering insurance to go with one of these plans as (in Canada) testing & hospitalization is extremely expensive & it doesn't take long to reach a maximum if your pet is unfortunate enough to contract an ongoing disorder. In all other aspects I would rate PetCare a 10.

Great Company

I have been with this company for a year now. I haven't had my 16 month old puppy in for anything major yet, but the plan I have for her is real reasonable. I just submitted a claim for close to $200 for contact dermatitis and they are reimbursing me over $ 150.00, they also are reimbursing most of the money I paid for her yearly vaccinations. I highly reccommend them.

Excellent Service and Promptness

Excellent, prompt and through!

If only human health insurance had such great customer service! I have been a customer of Embrace pet insurance for a couple of years and have found that their claims submission and reimbursement process worked seamlessly as promised. They are always professional and promptly notify you when a claim was received and when it will be paid. Although their rates may not be the cheapest out there, they deliver exactly as promised. Their process is simple and straight-forward which is exactly how any kind of insurance should work.
