Incredible service!

With most insurance companies of any kind, processing claims is inconvenient at best, but with Embrace, it was not only painless, but an all around pleasant experience. They were helpful, responsive, and really proactive about following up with me to help make sure the claim was processed as quickly as possible. There's no doubt in my mind that I'd use and recommend Embrace to anyone in the market for pet insurance.

High recommend this company!

Embrace covered an injury that most other pet insurance companies deem "genetic" (even though my dog's injury was caused by an isolated accident) I was given frequent email updates by the company letting me know the status of my claim and it was processed fairly quickly. Thank you, Embrace!

life-saving help

We have a a Golden Retriever named Macey who until March of 2009 was rock-solid healthy. During the summer of 2008 our daughter's dog who was insured with Pets Best became very ill and the insurance plan paid off big time. Our daughter advised us based upon her experience to insure our dogs with Pets Best and we are glad we did. In March of 2009 Macey was diagnoised with IMHA a type of anemia which can be deadly. We caught it in time. Pet's Best allowed us to save our dog because they paid $7,500 on a premium of $350 paid the summer before. Had we not had the insurance we would have had to put the dog down. I am only sorry that we did not go for the higher level of coverage which would have been about $10.000. As of today 11-4-09 Macey is in full recovery.

Poison Ingestion

Our dogs love to run around our property, however sometimes they come home with cuts and abrasions. It made us wonder what we would do if something more serious happened. We had heard about Pethealth through our veterinarian and thought it sounded like a good idea... Well it was a good idea! One day Abby came home vomiting. She had hives and trouble breathing. We were terrified. We rushed her to the veterinarian, who said she must have eaten some type of poison. She was treated immediately and now Abby is back to her happy self. It helped knowing that any costs we were to incur were covered with 24Petwatch Pet Insurance.

Good coverage

I have had this policy on my now 20 year old cat for about 6 years now. This is the first year that I have had the occasion to use it. I actually called them to ask about coverage about a recommended procedure, but their representative was very helpful alerting me to the fact that her last visit that was covered. This was a nice surprise. Recently, my kitty had a number of very serious issues. When I agreed to pay the emergency hospital about $3000 for her weekend treatment, I did so with great fear. I wondered if now I would find out the worst truth about my policy. Thankfully, there were no loopholes and no problems getting paid. They have continued to pay a number of high dollar amount bills. I am very grateful that I found this company and bought this policy so many years ago.

ASPCA Pet Insurance Rocks!

No cute pet stories. We have had the opportunity to file claims with ASPCA. These claims were addressed and paid fast. Faster than claims on my own health insurance. The premiums are reasonable and I appreciate the fact that the ASPCA get a portion of the premium to support its ongoing work.

TRUPANION - FABULOUS, RELIABLE, QUICK

My German Shepard puppy of 7 months came down with pneumonia. I called Trupanion to get pre-approval because we had to transfer him to the hospital. Being that he would be in the hospital for a few days we knew the bill would end up being a few thousand for his 4 day 24 hour care! I called Trupanion and the pre-approval representative was extremely instrumental in guiding me with great support to process the claim quickly - literally within 24 hours! Once we were pre-approved, I could relax and focus on my puppy's recovery! In a time of uncertainty just knowing that they were on top of it helped me feel more confident that my pup would be taken care of. That in and of itself is worth its weight in gold! Had VPI for my other pet and I would definItely choose Trupanion HANDS DOWN!

Pets Best is the Best!

I cannot say enough about this company- they have always paid in a timely manner, and I have never had to dispute claims made on my dog (something that cannot even be said for my own health insurance!!). My dog had the same stomach issues for 5 months straight. I was scared they were either going to drop me or stop covering repeat issues, but they didnt. They are a company that truly stands behind what they say they are going to provide! My vet also highly recommended them!

Sensible terms, great value

After I lost my last dog to a cancer that could have been detected if I had consented a year earlier to a "full work up" for the cause of her weight loss, I never wanted to be in that position again. When I adopted my new dog, Leo, I researched plans and chose Trupanion because it was both afordable and would protect me against catastrophic expenses. I'm on a fixed income, and I have to budget carefully for Leo. While I believe in preventive care, I would end up paying at least as much in higher premiums for preventive care as I would spend paying directly for preventive care, so I am glad the policy doesn't include it. Just two months after insuring Leo, I took him to the vet for chewing his feet and not letting me touch one foot. He ended up having a potentially cancerous growth on the foot that he wouldn't let me touch. I consented to a $930 surgerical removal and pathology work up because I knew I had coverage--otherwise I would not have been able to afford it. I was surprised that the visit that found the growth wasn't covered, but I reviewed my policy and it does not cover vet exam charges. Because it reason for the visit was "chewing feet," not "chewing sore foot," the alergy pills and candida test were counted as a separate incident, with a separate deductible, from the growth Also, since Leo was anesthetized already, I took my vet up on an offer to clean his teeth. Because the anesthesia had two purposes--one preventive and one a treatment--they covered half t

Review Coverage

I find the insurance ok. I had to add on level 2 with continuing care because it was very frustrating that alot of pre-existing conditions were not covered from one policy period to another. It got to a point where I was thinking about opting out because I never got compensated for ear infections etc,and it was costing me as much as what I was paying for the policy. I have been with the plan for at least 12 years and find that since there was a management change,it's more difficult to get reinbursed. I was however pleased that I did receive a reinbursement for surgery my dog had, and was glad that I kept the insurance. I think communication is the key, people should be aware that the basic coverage is minimal, but good if there is a need for surgery like in the case of my dog.
