As with any company you will have negative and positive experiences. My experience with ASPCA has been positive thus far. I have 2 senior cats and a new baby. I only wished I had bought the insurance before on my two other cats, whom are now deceased. My cat Mandy developed liver disease and had I had insurance it would have help me with the costs incured with her illness. Also my other cat Ember suffered from Lymphoma then kidney disease from the chemo treatments. If I had the insurance it would have helped, even though there is that little clause that states more treatemtn will not be covered with in a 12 month peroid after diagnosis. Even so any help would be great. I paid out of my pocket for her chemo treatments and kindey meds/treatments over 2.75 years at least $30,000. Had I had insurace that number would have been less. I only wish that they come up with a way that the Vets can submit your claim for you with the reimbursement being sent to the Vets and where we pay a co-payment every visit. I do think that when this happens more and more people will purchase pet insurance

Thank Goodness for Pets Best!

Let's face it, the majority of the population doesn't have several extra thousand(s) of dollars to throw around on people emergencies let alone pet emergencies. I can't afford to lose $2,000 or more to get my dog out of the emergency hospital knowing I won't get it back, but I can however afford $36.22 per month per pet and since I have two dogs I even get a discount! With Pets Best you get 80% back less your deductible and although it's not quite as high as some of the other insurances at 90%, according to my vet and based on personal experience these guys don't jerk you around, if you have a claim you submit it, and then you get a check or now you even get direct deposit, and you'll even have it before it's time to pay off that credit card you just racked up!! I'd rather sacrifice that 10% knowing that for sure I'm going to get my money back and to get it quick without any issues!!! Oh, and the customer service staff are friendly too, imagine that!! My dogs are not just pets, they are loved ones and part of our family and I would treat them just as I would a person and thanks to Pets Best I know I can actually afford to give my dogs the best care possible without losing my house and cashing out my retirement and selling off everything I own!!

Best Staff and Best Care for your Pets!!!!!

I just Started with Embrace and let me tell you they truly are the Best!! My Rufus a wiennie dog has never been sick in his life of 4 years and then on Christmas Eve 2009 there I was at the Vet's. and they covered the claim but then in January 2010 he had a broken tooth and I was in hospital also.So let me tell you Kate is the Best that Embrace has she is so caring and really concerned for "All"the pets. People let me tell you I called Embrace to tell them what was going on and Kate answered the phone and like always very caring and very concerened for my Rufus I was in tears and Kate helped me relax and she was very caring and she was very concerned for my Pet. Trust me Kate has a "Big Heart" and is there to help people with their claims and yes to just give a loving ear to those in need....God Bless Her. Kate has gone over and beyond to help Me. And Kate does a very Excellent Job. Now for Carrie, She has handled my claims and has been Excellent in this and has done all this while I was in the hospital.She has sent the Vet all the forms they need to fax over to handle the claims while I was in the Hospital. And Best of all do get the direct deposit for your reimbursement on claims as it is fast and goes straight to your bank account without any fuss.......No waitting for it to be mailed to you...God that is a Blessing. It was credited back to my bank account in just 1 day. By far this is the" Best Pet Insurance" So buy this for your Loved Pets as We all Value or Beloved pets and want the Best care for them. And Embrace will help with those Vet Bills. And getting them insured by Embrace Insurance is the Best. Because you never know what is going to happen to them. Very prompt, excellent service.

We signed up with Embrace last summer because my research showed that the company was the closest I could find to true "Major Medical" insurance for our Golden Retriever. Then in November our pet showed up with a good sized tumor on her neck. Surgery successfully removed the tumor. I paid the veterinarian's bill and submitted my claim to Embrace. They acknowledged my claim immediately, and after receiving the additional required documentation from our veterinarians, sent me a check (after deductible)for over 50% of the total cost. The total elapsed time was only two weeks! Now that's what I'd call exceptional service by an insurance company. Embrace has not only met, but has exceeded my expectations!

much better than I expected

My shorthair orange tabby Earl has had a very bad year with a series of illness - vomiting, urinary tract infection, bladder stones, and a malignant tumor in an adrenal gland. The ASPCA plan has paid something on each claim (so far) with explanations after a careful review of the bills I sent. Having this insurance really helped defray the expense of treatment and allowed me to have definitive tests done to help alter his diet and to reveal the tumor in the adrenal gland which was recently removed. Earl seems to be doing fine at this time.

Fantastic Service - quick and responsive

My bulldgog required emergency surgery for an obstruction in her digestive tract. Embrace processed the claim quickly and professionally. As promised, they paid the claim in full less the deductible and my co-pay. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants peace of mind when it comes to pet insurane.

Satisfied with this company

I have had several pet insurance companies for my pets. You have to read the fine print especially when it comes to continued care for a disorder that occurred in a previous year. Many companies wont cover. I have had a couple of claims with PetsBest and had a problem with one but my vet cleared it up and PetsBest came thru. My subsequent claims have been paid and very timely. Ive had PetsHealth and VPI and would not recommend these insurance companies. Thus far I dont have any issues with them and their payments have come within 10 days or less. However, I have not had any serious complications to cover so cant attest to how they will measure up if this arose.

Nothing but pleased

I have had Pets Best insurance for over a year now and I have to say i am impressed with their turn around time. I also found their representatives to be imformative. I recently submitted a claim for $6000 for a herniated disc and I was worried the claim process would take a long time. I paid for the bill with my credit card and I was afraid it would be a while before it would be approved because of the charges involved. As most know, credit cards need to be paid within 30 days. Well, I'm very pleased to say that I received my reimbursement in less than two weeks. I have submitted other claims and the process has always been smooth.

Very Good

I have been with Petsecure for 4 years now. My German Shepherd has always been very sickly. We have made probable close to $5,000 dollars in claims even with 3 major exclusions (skin, digestive and dental occlusion). They are usually very prompt with their payments. I usually receive them 2-3 weeks after I file it. The customer representatives are very helpful. The only negative feedback I have is to do with a clause in the plan that allows them to reduce co-insurance down to 50% if you fall within the top percentile of claims. I have fallen down to 60%. This is not permanent and is reassesed every 6 months. All in all I am very happy with my choice.
