I have a 6 month of newfoundland, named Winston! Embrace is a great pet insurance so far! Always were very nice and always had a prompt response per email. We made a wellness claim last friday and let me remind you memorial day was monday, so my claim was processed on tuesday and i recieved my reimbursement back TODAY and its friday! YAY!! my hubby was so happy! I researched for a long time on pet insurance and i am so glad i chose this one! i hope in furture everything goes this smooth!!!

Have had Embrace for quite awhile for ny now 8 year old lab, Logan & our 3 year old rottie, Jewels. Out of the other pet insurance companies that I have had, they are the most professional & pleasant. I've never had any problems with any claims & How they notify you what status your claim is in. You never get the feline you were thrown into the insurance claim milky way! I'll never have another pet insurance Company for my babies!

We purchased Healthy Paws insurance for our 2 puppies about 10 months ago. Since then we have had several claims for digestive track and virus problems as well as for one of the puppies who needed x-rays for possible front leg bone growth issues. Healthy Paws reimbursed us for all of our covered costs with in a few days of claim submission. We have, with no reservations, recommended Health Paws pet insurance to friends who recently acquired puppies.

I signed up my young healthy Oriental Shorthair and three months later he had an abscess rupture and we found ourselves in the ER. Our Dog Ellie Belle was chewing on a Sego Palm plant while in Florida. After a few hours she became very lethargic and had major diarrhea. We rushed her off to the Emergency Vet who started an IV and treated her with charcoal and various antibiotics as the Sego Palm is lethal to 50% of all dogs who ingest the plant. The time to handle the claim was longer than expected, but that was due to our travel time and communications with the vets. Also we didn't follow the procedure of bringing a claim for to the Vet and having hem do the claim form while we were there.

Thanks to Embrace I have a new weapon in the tool-kit to help my 12 year old husky-mix enjoy his elder years. Morgan has had a bad back for a few years now and despite our efforts to find a reason — MRI, spinal tap, etc. — he occasionally needs total bed rest for a "bad back". Not being able to enjoy his long hikes with his Daddy anymore brought us to try something new, acupuncture. Thank goodness embrace covers it because it is expensive. I have been with Pets Best for almost 6 years. I went with them because of the great reviews at the time. We were just getting a new puppy, and figured pet insurance is something we should have. In the meantime, we have also added our 14 year old cat and a new puppy we got 8 months ago. In the past, we have had no problems with reimbursements, and the insurance for each pet per year was about $200-300, which was acceptable. This year, they changed undewriters, and our insurance went up to $800-$1000 each year per pet. In addition, the reimbursements are taking longer and are more complicated. I will be shopping around for another insurance company.

I've been really happy with the customer service from Trupanion. Once I met the deductible for my dog's condition, they have been refunding me at 90% very quickly. The only issue is for every illness, it is a different deductible.
