Fantastic service!

Embrace is a terrific organization...the customer service folks are courteous and helpful, and the claims process is as easy as can be. They really helped me out when my poor pug Pixie got diagnosed with hip dysplasia...ended up getting over 50% of the money I spent on an office visit and x-rays (would've been more, but I had to meet the $200 deductible and 10% co-pay). Spent $670 on the office visit, got $345 back. Can't complain at all. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Embrace!

Great Customer Service, Speedy Claim Process

I decided to purchase Pet's Best pet insurance when I got my goldendoodle puppy about two and a half years ago. It has paid off several times over! I love Pet's Best because my monthly payment is extremely low and since I have been a customer, I have experienced nothing but the best service. The website very easy to use and filing a claim could not be more simple. In the two and a half years that I have insured my puppy with Pet's Best, I have filed three claims. For each claim, I received payment within 7 days of when the claim was filed. I would recommend calling Pet's Best customer service and talking to them about their options. I did this after researching pet insurance thoroughly and it was the customer service that won me over. I am very thankful I chose Pet's Best!

I have been very pleased with embrace pet insurance. Everyone is very informative, helpful and prompt with getting back to you with any information or questions you may have. I highly recomend embrace!!!!!!! It is a very affordable plan, with many options to choose from.

always a reason not to cover

I discovered that Trupanion doesn't cover a vet visit unless the vet DOES something like take blood or give medicine. So, when my dog started yelping and was unable to walk in the park, the visit to the vet was not paid because the vet found nothing wrong and the dog was no longer yelping. They ignored that the vet spent a good deal of time checking my dog over from head to foot to be sure. Then they refused to pay for allergies even though no allergies have been found. The records indicated that an ear infection COULD BE a seasonal allergy so now they wont pay for any allergic conditions. In fact, they've only paid for a crisis situation when the dog suddenly started vomiting and became dehydrated and we didn't know why. This seems to be emergency only insurance although it's not supposed to be.

I have had cats and now a dog. i think that it is very important to have pet insurance when illness strikes your pet or your pet must have surgery you know at least you will get some help with the financial reimbursemt

We LOVE Embrace!

I simply cannot say enough about this company! If only humans could have this level of customer service, care, premium cost and compensation! Our dog was abandoned and 'walked' into our life with no collar and underweight. We hadn't had a dog in 10 years and I had no idea of current costs. At the dog park there were several people talking about their experience with pet insurance companies,(I had never heard of it), so I researched AT LEAST 7 companies, compared rates but was sold when I called Embrace. I spoke to a 'live person' who answered questions I didn't even know I had until she started informing me of all they offered. Kodo (mixed Rotty & ?) developed an allergy that involved many visits to the vet within the first few months of coverage and they covered it so well. But the most surprising and most AMAZING fact is they are also covering Kodo's accupuncture treatments!!! He has a possible torn ACL and after researching all the pros & cons of surgery, I knew there had to be another way. I found a terrific new, ultra-forwarding thinking vet whose methods are working without surgery. I was concerned Embrace wouldn't cover the charges and was worried how to fit these treatments into our budget but that isn't a concern anymore!!! I am so confident in Kodo's coverage that a lot of stress has been alleviated. I wish Embrace would advertise more or at least send out promo material to every vet they receive a claim from. I talk about them everywhere there are animals and owners! We chose the premium coverage & it is still less than a tank of gas for my vehicle! You can't receive better insurance anywhere else.

A real life-saver for my health-challenged dog!

I had my Auggie, beloved standard poodle – and first ever dog – for almost 11 years, thanks in no small part to PetSecure’s financial support for Auggie’s considerable health issues. While he was completely healthy as a little pup, as he aged Auggie developed Addison’s disease, hypothyroidism, bladder stones, and ultimately a heart murmur, ataxia (back leg weakness, likely the aftereffects of a minor spinal cord deformity or injury), and high blood pressure and related blindness. I had a whole ‘team Auggie’ of generalist and specialist vets – including Traditional Chinese medicine specialists and acupuncturists – providing advice, support, and medication to keep him as healthy and active as possible, again with financial support from PetSecure. As a result, Auggie’s quality of life was very, very high, better (my vets have told me) than any other dog they knew afflicted with just ONE of Auggie’s conditions. My happy boy made friends throughout our Toronto neighbourhood, was described by one local merchant as a ‘well-respected member of the community’, and is now memorialized in a commemorative oak tree planted in our favourite ravine – meaning that he’ll continue to benefit our community for years to come. That initial puppy policy I purchased was an essential investment in Auggie’s viability throughout his life span: I could never have managed without the reimbursements for treatments and support. I will forever be grateful to PetSecure, and when my heart has healed and I have a new puppy, will invest in PetSecure insurance again.

TERRIBLE

Do not use this insurance company! I had been a loyal customer for 10 years - automatic payment - never late. They sent me a letter asking for a renewed expiration date on my CC card for the monthly payments, which I called in and gave them this information. Then about a year later, I submitted a claim and they said I was not a customer! Why didn't they contact me a second time to get my CC information? One time shot and that was it! I have been fighting them ever since and have had it! they are not flexible at all and their appeals department refused my story time and time again, even thought I had the original letter asking them for the information and the date in which I provided them the CC information. There are no exceptions and they DON'T cover congenital or hereditary conditions - which many other insurance companies do! DO NOT USE THEM!

1st Claim Paid in 9 Days

I faxed in my claim on a Friday, it was acknowledged on Monday, payment confirmed on Wednesday, and I received my check the following Saturday. This is my first experience in pet insurance, but PetsBest was recommended by several people, including a vet who has 8 dogs insured thru PetsBest. My claim was simple - just a wellness claim - but I was impressed with the speed.

veterinary bill claims paid

i have had petcare insurance for 6 years now and during that time, suffered the loss of my cat Sophie to cancer. i have always received the best customer service and ALL my claims related to the cancer treatment were paid promptly and in full. i adopted two kittens after sophie died and one was diagnosed with feline urological syndrome ... all of murphy's vet bills related to the problem have been paid in full as well. i highly recommend this pet insurance based on my completely positive experience.
