of course we wish every procedure was covered but we understand we signed up for insurance to avoid catastrophic vet bills and to keep our pet healthy, not that everything would be covered. I was very happy with how easy it was to file claims, very happy with the speed at which the claims were handled and very happy with the explanation of what was not covered. They make filing a claim easy and they pay quickly.
Figo is the best. Claim process is so easy, done right on your phone with a few easy questions. They also pay very quickly. I have had claims paid in less than 24 hours. I will be adding a second dog to my policy soon.

Loved petsbest but have been extremely disappointed in the wait time for claims. It’s important to have them processed quickly as having insurance is peace of mind to financially give your pet the best care.

Simple and fast
We filed a claim on Monday and received our reimbursement on Friday of the same week. Our dog was treated by our vet our local emergency hospital. Multiple providers did not seem to slow the process down, and we did not have to be middle-person between vets and Figo. All handled by Figo. Figo paid what we expected according to our plan selection. Very happy! This was our first year on the plan, so not sure how this affects our renewal rate. That is a future concern. Currently, as I said, we are very impressed and happy!

Major medical x 2 dogs 2019. EXCELLENT!!’
This company is across the board good. Last year one of my dogs had a brain tumor removed and the other had pneumonia with hospitalization. Very easy and simple (Like, “are you kidding me?!”) claims process. Also used several years ago for a leg laceration and jaw fracture (she ran into closed patio door. Use emblems folks! Lesson learned). Polite staff. Without hesitation I have my puppy insured by them. Very worthy of mention.

The BEST pet insurance EVER!!!
I was lucky enough to purchase pet insurance 6 weeks before my adorable 6 year old puppy dog developed a very serious brain disease called Meningoencephalitis. Embrace swiftly paid us back 90%! I highly recommend purchasing pet insurance for your pets!

So glad we have nationwide pet insurance wellness plan
We decided to go with Nationwide because they offer a wellness plan in addition to major medical. We have both for our two Golden Retrievers and hope we don't have to use the major medical, but have used the wellness for both dogs vaccines, preventative medications and office visits and the claim process was EASY. You can email, or fax the claims, forms available online. Customer service sends you email updates to keep you informed and I received my reimbursements via check within a short time. I just submitted two more claims for my one year old and new puppy and I got a notification the claims "are in process". I appreciate the prompt updates the the claims status as well as communication from claims processors if they have any questions they contact you via phone and email or whatever method you prefer. I highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance for wellness as well as major medical for peace of mind.
