We have been loving pet insurers since we were adopted by D-O-G ("dee OH jee") the English Mastiff and quickly switched to Embrace Pet insurance because of these types of online reviews (I did some research!) and their excellent coverage plans. THANK YOU for Embracing him (and us) all these years! He's been one happy and healthy (and spoiled!) pup ever since.

I have a 5 year old cat who suddenly started having kidney issues that required lots of expensive tests and treatment. I have never thought of buying pet insurance but when I took my cat in for a routine check up 6 weeks prior to some kidney issues Pets Plus Us was offering a 6 week free trial of insurance so I signed up thinking "What's going to happen in 6 weeks?". Well! On the last day I was covered I happened to take my cat in for her kidney issues and I feel so lucky to have had signed up for the trial. They covered 80% no problem and so I went home and registered for a regular monthly plan. In my case, I am truly thankful for their coverage. And when I called to ask a few questions the staff were beyond helpful and pleasant.

Our one year old Vizsla, Gunner, had a partial stomach block. After constant vomiting, lethargy, and no appetite we decided to take him in. We ended up having to take him in to an emergency pet hospital in the middle of the night. He needed x-rays, IV, blood work, etc. and had to stay over two nights. This was the first claim we submitted. Healthy Paws was fast to process our claim. They covered everything we had anticipated on covering. They even reached out to the animal hospital to get an additional document I forgot to upload, so we didn't have to. Customer service was friendly and knowledgeable. They followed up to make sure Gunner was doing better! Thanks for keeping us worry free! Great pet insurance that actually cares about your pet.

I have had many pets in my life and I was a skeptic when it came to pet insurance. I have had Trupanion insurance for my dog for one year and I am so impressed. They have great customer service and they have paid over $2000 in vet bills over this year. I will never get another pet without insurance through Trupanion.

Two of our three dogs (one goldendoodle, the other a labradoodle) were both treated for eye infections. The visits involved extensive diagnostic testing at the vet's office as well as medications. Both claims were filed and paid well within the two-week turn around period. Such comfort to know that cost is never an issue when caring for my dogs.

We unfortunately had a house fire where four pets were trapped inside. We were not at home. We received a call from a neighbor who informed us of the house fire. We rush home to fine our two dogs in the front yard on their doggie beds. One deceased, one survivor. Thankfully the Clark County Fire Department made an attempt to rescue our pets from the house. Sadly, we lost a dog, a cat and an bird to smoke inhalation. Our surviving dog, Hank, a german shepherd, suffered sever smoke inhalation and was taken to the veterinarian for smoke inhalation, He was in very bad shape and I was afraid that we would lose him too. A large veterarian bill would have been more than we could have afforded at that time of the fire. Fortunately, We have Embrace insurance and the worry of a large medical bill was the least of our concerns. At the time we purchased Pet Insurance, I admit, I had wondered how wise a purchase it would really be. Since the fire I am convinced it was as important as purchasing health insurance for anyone in my family. Hank was in the hospitalized for ten days. Thanks to the great skill of our veterarian and Embrace, we were able to bring Hank home. The security of knowing that a large pet medical bill would be covered was the best part of Embrace Pet Insurance. The bonus was the reimbursement check we received from the medical claim. We use the money to have a electronic pet door installed when our house was rebuilt. The monthly premium payments are worth the sacrifice to insure that my Pets will receive the best medical treatment.

Healthy Paws has been simply fantastic. They have paid out many thousands of dollars in claims for my dog, mostly due to the diagnosis and treatment of Addison's disease. They process the claims very quickly, send a check quickly, and they have never, ever tried to stiff me on a claim (can't say the same for my previous pet insurer). Their customer service is terrific. I especially like that they inquire about how your pet is doing after anything that seems significant. They just seem like they really care about your pet. I have nothing but great things to say about them.
