Excellent customer services ! Highly recommended

My dog got dog-attacked in Dog Park and sustained a laceration to his back leg couple weeks. We took him to the vet and they stitched him up on Saturday. I filed the claim on the next Monday, and then I got a confirmation email immediately. I was so surprised that they took a really short time to process the claim. I already received a reimbursement check from Healthy Paws yesterday. I greatly appreciate their fast services and their thoughtful e-mail. I highly recommended Healthy Paws Insurance.

Great Service & Honest Company

Healthy Paws processed my claim quickly, easily, with no problems or red tape. They are always courteous and well-informed. You can tell the customer service reps take good notes because they are always up to date with a particular issue when you call or email. The follow-ups are a nice touch, too. We all have to deal with insurance - with our cars, homes, lives, etc. It's very reassuring to have found a company that sticks by their word, plain and simple. There were no surprises with our claim. We sent in our cat's sparse, prior medical history (vaccines and neutering) at the time of the accident, and had our vet forward the documents for the surgery they had to conduct on our cat. That's it! Within a couple weeks, I had my check. I would wholeheartedly recommend Healthy Paws based on my experience.

First timer

Hi, This is the first time I've had pet insurance of any kind and I was a bit skeptical initially, but am gleefully pleased with every aspect thus far. Having heard and read reviews of other insurers I expected there might be some unforeseen gaps in coverage and when coverage was available refunds to be slow in coming but that simply hasn't been the case. From taking the time to explain and break down coverages, to walking me through the claims process, Embrace has been consistent and timely at every step. I really appreciate the email updates on receipt of claim, claim status, notification of claim payout, and follow up to ensure payment has been received. I hadn't even expected reimbursement for the initial vet visit, but found that we were covered in full. What a wonderful surprise. My only regret is that Embrace has set the bar so high that I am now woefully disappointed with my own health insurance. Can someone there please give United Healthcare a call and explain to them how its done? What more can I say except thank you Embrace, you have a lifelong customer in me. Regards, W. VanWyk & Woody

THE BEST PET INSURANCE !

My husband and I have always been pet parents to several pets at a time during the years it has been extremely expensive to take care of medical expenses( credit cards ! ). So when we took on the next generation I started looking into pet insurance but could not find one that made good sense. The biggest expense a pet owner has is when their pet is hurt or sick..really dont need the yearly shots for physical to be covered. SO GOODNESS I came across a trupanion pamphlet at vet office and looked into it.THIS IS IT!! I signed up 4 pets , 2 yorkies 4 years old and 2 cats maine coon 5 years old JULY 2010. I had decided to do the zero deductable so I would have less out of pocket expense if needed medical attention. Well much to my surprise one of my yorkies Maggie needed surgery Sept 2010 for a ruptured R CCL and the bill totals $ 2347.00 , reimbursed back 90% $2112.30 !!! Then my poor Maggie gets bladder stones in April 2012 cost $ 2128.00 got back $ 1915.20 . Then again she gets a big bladder stone Sept 2012 costs $ 2266.50 got back $2039.85.. I WOULD HAVE BEEN AT WITTS END !! I know about the credit card pet charges for your pets welfare , most of my charges used to be vet care.. I TALK TO MY FRIENDS AND ANYONE WHO ASKS ABOUT PET INSURANCE ..THIS IS THE ONE TO HAVE !! THE STAFF IS HELPFUL IN CONTACTING YOU ON CLAIM PROGRESS AND THEY EVEN ASK HOW YOUR PET IS DOING.. ( so nice that they care ) .. AGAIN I HAVE FOUR PETS SIGNED UP and so far my other 3 are fine AND I AM SO

Outstanding Customer Service

This was a wellness claim on my 6 year old female. The company was very efficient and helpful when filing this claim. I have and will continue to recommend Embrace Pet Insurance. In this day and age with the economy as is and the cost of having animals of any kind or breed, it is necessary to have insurance to help with the cost of pet care.

Without tru panion my dog puppy would not be here!

My bull mastiff was 11 months old when he collapsed for the first time. We brought him to the emergency room to find out be has what is called super ventricular tachycardia. Long story short my doctor bills were over 7,000.00 dollars and tru panion paid 90% of every bill after the $500 deductible was paid. They also cover 90% of his heart medication that he will be on for the rest of his life. Thankyou to Tru Panion for saving my dogs life. Your company is #1 in our eyes.

Amazing customer service

Embrace really demonstrates an understanding and caring for their animal clients! They handle claims so quickly and efficiently (characteristics that are rarely seen in either the animal or people insurance world). They are personable and appear truly interested in helping provide the best customer service. So glad that I insured our rescued puppy with Embrace the minute she came into our lives.

Pets best delivers

So far, at least a couple years I have had no drama with pets Best! I have never had to argue a claim, they pay reasonably and promptly. With ASPCA I felt their Priority was to find ways of getting out of paying, with Pets Best I feel they are trying to build business through customer satisfaction! What a concept! I've had three pets with them. One pet died suddenly from a nasal sarcoma. Even though I did the minimum the bill came to 4000$ Pets Best paid exactly the percentage they say they pay and they did it quickly with a condolence note! After ASPCA I thought I have to fight again. I can't tell you how a horrible situation was helped by Pets Best quick reimbursement. All claims have been paid with the same service. I hope it continues. It is hard enough when your pet is ill, now I can afford to give my pets the quality healthcare they deserve and anxiety is cut in half! Insure your pet!!

Opportunists

ASPCA insurance has not only denied my legitiment claims but a friend's claim as well. They deny claims hoping you will not fight them. I knew I was in the right and I had to go as far as getting the surgeon and my vet to write letters. Both doctors were furious and appalled. The people on the phone don't know enough to be credible, they clearly were trained to keep money in the system but not educated enough to defend reasons for denying the claim. It was infuriating. In the end I did not back down and The claim went through. However when I got the check it was such a small percentage of the vet bill I was livid. I also was finished. I left and went with Pets Best where I have not had a single problem so far. ASPCA should be ashamed to be affiliated with the hartford group. My doctors were so disgusted they pulled the pamphlets from their lobbys. I will get my friends to write a review, their story is even worse.

Allison Kennedy is a superstar!

I'd like to leave feedback about Allison Kennedy. She displayed exemplary customer service when I inquire about an insurance claim for my dog, Bean. (I have a Best Friend's policy.) Not only did Allison answer my questions in a very reassuring manner but she went above and beyond that by explaining the coverage that my policy offered and what that would mean in terms of reimbursement. Allison displayed the utmost patience when I asked her when I might be receiving my check, quizzed her when I hadn't received it in the expected time frame, and then graciously accepted my apology when I said that the check was in my mailbox when I got home from work.As if that weren't enough, she helped me figure out how to complete this survey and will share suggestions for web site improvements. Allison is a model for what great customer service should be and if I were you, I'd give her a raise or promotion! She's the reason why I will continue to insure my pets through Best Friends.
