Excellent in every way

I was impressed by each step of the process in submitting a claim. I was notified my claim had been received and quickly updated as it was reviewed. A check was issued within 10 days of the medical incident - my own family doctor should be so prompt!

So very grateful to have pet insurance

Thankfully we picked up coverage on our three dogs several years ago (after the death of two elderly cats and one dog that didn't have insurance). The past few months have been a blur with both of our Beagles experiencing back problems.One was easily diagnosed and after a few weeks on some meds and kennel rest she has made a great recovery. Unfortunately, our other Beagle did not get off so easy. She has been diagnosed (after being referred to a neurologist and getting an MRI, spinal tap and several other tests) with Spinal GME. She is currently under going monthly in-house chemo treatments (two night stay at the hospital) along with taking daily chemo pills and steroids all in the hope of resetting her immune system. There is no way we could continue to provide her this level of care without Embrace. When the vets start talking about costs, I just shush them and tell them we have pet insurance and if it is best for her recovery then we need to do it. We are just at the beginning of her treatment and so far have spent about $5K, since we have the 80/20 coverage Embrace has covered nearly $4K. The only thing I would change if I could go back ... I would have chosen the 90/10 coverage! We also provide acupuncture to all of our dogs - Embrace covers that too. I don't know how Embrace could make the claims process any easier. I choose to email our claim forms with the receipts (so I also have a scanned copy on my computer); however, faxing them is also an option. I typically receive an email within 24 hours letting me know the claim has been received and will get emails throughout the review process until a final decision to cover the cost is made. Other than the initial claim where we had to get with several different vets to gather all her records from the past year, we have never had to wait more than 5-10 days for the decision and the refund to be sent electronically to our account. We have never been denied coverage on any of our claims. I am so grateful to have Embrace insurance, it certainly helps me sleep better knowing I can provide my pets with the vet care they need. Anytime I have called with questions, the customer service has been outstanding and very patient with a stressed out pet owner. Thank you Embrace for helping me take care of my babies.

Excellent Customer Service

I had a couple of questions about adding another puppy to our current plan. I also needed some forms as I used my original. I emailed and within a very short time had all my answers. Dina was the representative that helped and is mailing forms to me and answered all of my questions as well. I appreciate this service for pet owners. I have not been at all disappointed and unfortunately have already had the need to file a claim. They were wonderful about response!

Best Pet Insurance Availiable

Best Pet insurer we could find. Service is tops and covered 99 % of the expenses on a surgery we just had done on our dog. Filing claims is easy and they are handled quickly. Recommend VPI highly. Our vet recommended VPI to us as one of the better companies.

A model for ALL insurance companies!

For me to take the time to write a review says one of two things: either I am overwhelmingly IMPRESSED or completely FURIOUS. Count me as IMPRESSED by everything about Embrace, starting with the flexibility in choosing the plan that works best for me. After that, all that matters is the SERVICE, which is absolutely awesome: ultra-quick, personal responses to questions, expedient claim processing and a great portal for checking claims and EOBs. First Class. Maybe HUMAN insurance companies should take note.

Easy!

Pets Best is so quick at reimbursement. They are fair and helpful. I would recommend pet insurance from Pets Best to anyone!

Caring and compassionate

I had to put down one of my beloved cats recently.Embrace Pet Insurance was sincerely caring and compassionate when I contacted them with some questions regarding my cat's policy. I received timely, regular updates on the claims I submitted. It didn't feel like an impersonal business transaction; it was more personal and very consoling. Thank-you, Embrace, for helping me through this sad time.

Great insurance except for the premiums

Unfortunately, I will need to cancel this year due to another huge premium increase (from $66 to $98/month!), but I will say that they have been awesome and have paid almost 3K this year on my elderly hyperthyroid cat. Never had a claim denied and the money was in my account within a week or so. I took the policy off most of my cats last year due to another huge increase and I am cancelling it completely this year - but if you feel the price quoted is acceptable, they do pay claims without a hassle and I can recommend it on that basis.

Excellent company

Katie, our oldest cat of about 12 years or so, has developed some arthritis in her back. She's always loved being brushed, but resisted and cried a bit. We took her for acupuncture and chiropractic treatments and she's turned into a kitten again. Completely comfortable again and very playful. We chose Embrace because holistic as well as traditional medical services are covered. Our claims were processed quickly and accurately. Whenever I've called with questions, the Embrace person has always been courteous and helpful. We made a good decision for coverage.

So far wonderful service

We spent the 4th of July with a sick dog. He threw up and had diarrhea throughout the day. After a few hours of it not improving we took him to the Animal Hospital. They determined that he did not swallow any foreign objects and checked his blood for any other concerns. He was rehydrated and put on medication to help him recover. Gratefully he did quickly. But the hospital bill was over $800. Within days of submitting to we received a message with the amount we would be refunded from Healthy Paws. A check followed shortly thereafter as did an email asking if our dog was feeling better. We are very happy with their speed of service and percentage we are refunded quickly.
