Very satisfied

I have always had pets, but never had pet insurance until recently. We adopted 4 kittens 6 months ago and I thought with this many cats, something is bound to happen eventually that would need serious veterinarian attention. Two months after bringing the gang home, the little female, Phoebe, began to limp significantly. She had dislocated her knee. She healed up in about 1 months, then 2 months later dislocated the other knee. The vet said she has bad knees and would continue to dislocate them unless she had surgery to fix them. She had the surgery in January and is doing very well. The insurance process with Embrace was extremely simple. I completed the initial form and then had the vet's office submit all of the medical info. In just a few weeks the entire claim was processed and checks were mailed out. Embrace helped make a stressful (for both me and Phoebe) situation a little less stressful. Thank you.

Glad I went with the recommendation to use Embrace

While volunteering with a rescue organization I witnessed first hand the hardship and heart ache an illness or injury can cause when expenses exceed resources for a beloved pet. I took the recommendation to use Embrace pet insurance and now as we face our Great Dane Jasmines TPLO surgery we are happy to say the experience is great and taking alot of stress off of us knowing Embrace is there for us and Jasmine!

Great Peace of Mind

I previously had an adopted dog who developed severe orthopedic problems. The cost of physical therapy and other rehab. services just about 'broke the bank.' I swore that my next dog would have health insurance. After looking at multiple companies, I choose Trupanion. So far we haven't had any major health problems but Trupanion does pay 90% of the monthly cost of her eye drops for allergic conjunctivitus.I know that if she ever has a medical emergency or needs long term rehab services that Trupanion will be there so my girl can get the treatment she so rightly deserves.

So glad we have it!

Abcess of unknown origin developed literally overnight, containing approx. 75cc of pus. There was no option to treat with only antibiotics. Surgery with drains plus meds. Tupanion didn't hesitate to cover $843 of the $930 bill.

Love Healthy Paws!

We have only had healthy paws for a few months when one of our dogs, Ruby, got a mass cell tumor. I wasn't worried about the cost to help her because we have Healthy Paws. Our plan is the $100 deductible and they pay 90% after that. Between the aspiration of the mass, the surgery to remove it, the lab testing the mass, and medications, our bill was over $400. They quickly reimbursed us over $300. We got the check from Healthy Paws in the mail before our credit card bill with Rubys surgery on it even came in the mail. We are very happy with Healthy Paws. They even email me to see how Ruby was doing after her surgery!

Amazing Company

Love looking through the reviews where people are complaining about a FREE gift they received. You do realize if it wasn't for that gift you would be left with all these bills you're complaining about with NO help from anyone. Shame on 24Petwatch for trying to offer you another choice. I honestly hope they get rid of it. Seems to be more hassle for the company than anything. We PAY for our insurance and yes we have had to fight the adjusters to get something paid but sometimes it's an error in the information that we or our vet has submitted , these people are human too and make errors as I do. Yes it sucks but it happens and we get over it. Will we cancel and leave our pet with nothing? NO. That's ridiculous. We have been with the company for 3 years and so far so good.

I like having piece of mind that have coverage

This claim was for my well coverage. It was paid in a little over a week. The embrace team responds to any questions you may have very timely via email. I am very impressed with that! I do wish that the reimbursement of claim came through a bit faster but I still like that I have piece of mind having coverage for my pets should something go wrong with their health. They are part of our family.

Be aware of claimed preexisting conditions

We have had Pets Best for over a year and have been happy with it until recently. After 2 claims were denied (one for ear infection and one for a hotspot), I called Pets Best to find out what's going on. Turned out that 8 months ago I took my dog to the vet to have his anal glands expressed as he was licking it excessively (no surprise there). Now I understand that anal glands were not covered and I was fine with that, however, what came out of this specific claim was that Pets Best determined that because my dog was licking his anal glands and was prescribed a cream to stop the irritation (or itching) by the vet, he was deemed to have "allergies" which Pets Best consider as a "preexisting condition". My dog has NEVER been treated for allergies ever by anyone or showed signs of allergies and now they are claiming ear infection, hotspots are all stemmed from allergies. I'm a healthcare provider myself, and I've never diagnosed a patient with an irritation on his arm as you-are-doomed-forever-allergies and just because a patient had bronchitis does not mean he has asthma, etc. I think it's unethical for them to claim all of these issues are related to allergies. The vet was visited for anal sacculitis for heaven's sake.
