Would definitely recommend Nationwide
The last claim for Mojo was emailed instead of faxed. After a month of not hearing about the claim and it not as existing when I checked online, I called and was told it was not received. It was emailed again with the same result. I then faxed it,as I had done in the past for other claims, it was received. Emailing was a problem.

Raising rates by 20% during Covid 19 without any claims, ever!
Shocking...we just recieved notice that they are raising our rates by 20% even though we've NEVER filed a claim in 2 years! Their excuse is blaming the California Insurance Commission. Such a joke. And to raise customers rates during the economic Covid-19 crisis is simply insensitive and terribly managed. We just cancelled our coverage and will find another company who cares.

EASY and FRIENDLY
Healthy Paws makes it so easy to submit a claim- I upload a photo of the vet invoice directly through the app, they review it and direct deposit my reimbursement within days. I was uncertain about getting pet insurance but I am SO GLAD I did as my dog needed ACL surgery and cyst removal surgery. I think it's important to first of all review coverage. Pet insurance does not cover routine check-up and vaccines, They are for unexpected problems. It's also important to realize it doesn't work like human insurance. You pay your vet and then get reimbursed. Once you understand that, you will love healthy paws. The price per month is fair and the coverage, ease, and customer service is great. I have gotten friendly emails after my dog's procedures to check in on him. I highly recommend. I am a customer for life.

Embrace allows you to choose your coverage, deductable and quality of insurance, provides pre-existing time frames and has an easy online claim system. In a 6 month period I had one emergency surgery claim and and 1 Iinfection treatment claim. Fast, easy and fair.

Great customer service!
I couldn't be happier with Nationwide. Great insurance, great customer service and prompt replies and noticeably faster payment than a few months ago. My 11-year-old Greyhound, an embedded fixture in our family, is dying of heart disease and is on numerous medications multiple times a day. I take great comfort in knowing that Nationwide continues to support his ongoing treatment and cover his medications at 90%. It's helped keep Duke alive beyond what even our cardiologist predicted. For that we are thankful.
