Our 4 year old cat, Sophie, was diagnosed with a liver disease which came on very suddenly. She spent a week in the Emergency hospital, and has been on special food. Her treatment involved several very expensive procedures. Trupanion paid the claim promptly and without question. In fact, I had the cheque before the credit card bill so Sophie's treatment was due. A difficult time with Sophie was made much easier knowing that because of our insurance, we could afford the treatment necessary to save her life!

Our little boy suddenly started vomiting quickly followed by bloody diarrhea. We rushed him right in to emergency services with our vet. He was critically ill. He required services and tests. Some time later, on our way home we thought about the fact that we were blessed to be able to say yes to the tests and services and knew we could pay at the time of services and then submit a claim for reimbursement. We know of too many pet parents who couldn't do that and ultimately lost their furry kids. My husband and I wanted a French bulldog for so long and when we finally got our Ruby we knew due to Frenchies being prone to various health problems that we needed good insurance. Healthy Paws has been wonderful to us. Their mobile claim submission process is so quick and easy (all you have to do is take a picture of your bill and press submit). Their processing time is extremely quick. When Ruby needed major knee surgery they approved her claim within hours! We also appreciate Healthy Paws' great customer service. Any time we've called they've answered the phone and have been very friendly and helpful. They even emailed us asking how Ruby was coming along after her surgery!
