Very satisfied with ASPCA health insurance

During routine dental cleaning, vets discovered that our dog Sparky had a cracked tooth, which they extracted. This added considerably to the cost of his dental work. ASPCA covered not only the extraction but the anesthesia, pain control, and related items. We filed a claim, which was paid promptly. We are big fans of ASPCA's pet insurance.

I heard your company was excellent in all aspects

I have heard from a family member that this was a great company for pet insurance so I decided to check into it and see if it met my pets needs.

Best Insurance

Embrace has been very reliable and quick and easy to submit claims. I actually told everyone at the Vet Emergency about your company when I was there with my little dachshund.

EMBRACE SAVES THE DAY

Our 9 year old golden retriever, Watson, tore his ACL and in the process of diagnosing that, the vets found cancer in his anal glands. Dealing with over $6,000 of surgery and imaging would have been a real stress, but fortunately we had EMBRACE! The "Embracers" were very sympathetic and helpful and the claims were processed qucikly. The cancer was found very early and Watson is doing well. THANKS EMBRACE!

Life saver

They were amazing. My day had total acl reconstruction and re-attachment and they paid for most of it. They were amazing. I couldn't have had the surgery for my hunting buddy without vpi's help.

Great to have when you need it!

Trupanion pays their claims without hassle. As a medical provider it is nice to deal with an insurance company that pays claims correctly and without having to constantly resubmit. Does pet insurance save you money? Probably not unless your pet has catastrophic health issues. I have been paying for years and nearly cancelled, but kept it going. My dog Maggie developed some tumors, one of which was a malignant mast cell tumor. After the deductible we received reimbursement of 90% of all the expenses within two weeks. It even reimbursed 90% of medication costs. The real value of having the insurance is you don't have to decide between your pet's health (and/or life) and your finances when your pet needs a lot of medical care. Things to understand: The policy does not cover for the cost of the initial visit to diagnose the problem. It also has a deductible (you choose the amount which in part determines the monthly rate) which is per condition. Mine is $50.00. So your first visit for a condition will likely not reimburse a lot if anything, but after the initial diagnosis and deductible, that condition is reimbursed at 90% for the life of the pet. At least that's how my plan works. Their may be other programs that work differently, I just don't know

A Pet Insurance that really cares

CJ, my English Cream Golden Retriever (almost 2 years) was dealing with diarrhea, losing weight, stomach pain and once in a while vomiting. My vet had a suspicion that CJ has IBD. To be sure CJ needed an intestinal biopsy which is the only way to find out IBD. It hurts to see your pet in pain and I wanted him to get the right treatment, so he can have fun again. Healthy Paws gave me such great support. Whenever I called they were friendly kind and very helpful. My claim was processed within a week and the greatest was when I received an e-mail from Healthy Paws where I was asked how CJ is feeling. That was so amassing and shows me that Healthy Paws really cares. Thank you so much for all your support.Woof from CJ 
