Excellent Coverage, Outstanding Customer Service

I did a lot of research on pet insurance companies before I decided to go with Healthy Paws. The monthly premium is about $40, and it is the best $40 I've ever spent. You can read all the reviews and do all the research you want but until you actually use the insurance you have no idea what to expect. I have been so pleased with Healthy Paws the customer service is amazing, they respond to emails within an hour of sending, the claims process is easy and processed in a timely matter, coverage is exactly what they state they cover, there is absolutely no hidden BS. Honestly my Dog has better health insurance then I do!! LOL.My poor 9 month old Pug started having issues back in Aug after months of testing it was confirmed that her liver is not functioning properly. After everything was said & done I had racked up about $7,000 in vet bills. anyone who owns a pet knows it is very stressful when you have a sick animal. The last thing you want to worry about is how your going to pay for the bill. With Healthy Paws that worry doesn't exist. I have 90% coverage and that's exactly what they cover, no surprises, no hidden BS. The coverage is excellent! On top of it Healthy Paws always follows up to check and see how my Lucy Liu is recovering, that always makes me feel good. They really do care about the well being of your furry friend. Most importantly I highly recommend Healthy Paws, every animal should be insured.

Customer service could not be better!

Embrace has been wonderful during a stressful time. The customer service and communication is amazing. I have received answers to my emails promptly, even on the weekends! Our claims have been processed in a timely manner. Last week I received six checks in one envelope, several were for claims that had barely been in the system a week or so. Our lovely Ted has cancer and has had several surgeries, goes for every other day bandage changes and is undergoing chemo. Not one claim has been questioned or denied. This is an emotional and trying time for our family and Embrace has been easy and uncomplicated. I also appreciate their practice of inquiring about the patient. Ted is what it is all about. Thanks Embrace.

Efficient

Sadie our 3 yr old poodle was having breathing/wheezing/choking issues. Our vet wanted her seen by a cardiologist slight irregular heartbeat. After a complete cardio evaluation all heart issues were ruled out.Embrace completed the claim without issue

Surprisingly Great!

I am fairly new to Embrace, but have had to submit 3 claims regarding my three cats in just the first few months. I am SHOCKED at how wonderful Embrace has been. Their well-care is comprehensive, their coverage amounts are fair, and their service is prompt. You also get almost immediate response from emailing Customer Service. I will human insurance was so good! I have to continue coverage of my dog with another insurance carrier because of a pre-existing condition. But, I have to tell you, the difference between the two pet insurances companies is "night and day".

Excellent service

My dog required multiple tests and exams to determine the cause of a leg injury. The claim was dealt with quickly, directly through my vet and there was no hassle. Considering that this will be an ongoing issue with my dog until she is old enough to have surgery to correct the problem, I know that the future claims will be dealt with quickly and easily which provides me peace of mind.

EXCELLENT - Just as advertised

We submitter 3 clames with our French Bulldog and so far, didn't run into any problems. Its just as advertised. We pay exam fee, one time deductible per condition, and everything else was covered by Trupanion (90%). Vaccinations and any preventatives are not covered. All in all, great service, fast response, pleasant over the phone - great pet insurance. Wish there was a place to upload your pets pics so that they could be featured on your profile and on the website. (current photo feature is not working). Highly recommend.

Always dependable

I've had Embrace for at least 4 years. In that time, my dogs have had hospitalizations or treatmemt for cancer, gastroenteritis, accident, etc. I just added the Wellness plan. I have always been paid what the policy says it covers. I have also found the staff to be friendly, responsive and helpful whenever I have called. I can recommend Embrace without reservations.

Mindy's Malocclusion & persistent deciduous teeth

My 6 month old Maltese “Mindy” was having issues with Malocclusion and persistent deciduous teeth. When she was spayed and micro-chipped on July 26th she had about 3/4 teeth removed but she was still having trouble and was referred to the Dental Center and had surgery on August 8th where she had 12 teeth removed and some orthodontic work to help move her canines into the right location. This would help solve soft-tissue defects from tooth contact in the floor of the mouth and the roof of the mouth (palate), and save her from future mouth injuries, periodontal disease, fractures and wear on teeth due to the teeth misalignment). This procedure was expensive but I wanted Mindy to be okay and have teeth without pain. Mindy had this surgery on August 8th and I submitted my claim on August 9th (a claim from the deciduous teeth pulled on July 26th and a claim for dental surgery the day before) on August 16th exactly one week later, I received an email from Trupanion that they will be paying 90% of the eligible bill - this was everything except for the $85 examination fee for the dental surgery; and they also sent an email about paying 90% for the eligible work completed on July 26th. Thank you Trupanion……YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY I HAVE YOU!

High Expectations Met

As someone who has designed and applied many consumer/client satisfaction surveys and interviews, I've always felt that expectations rather than "satisfaction" rule the day. My firm pioneered "expectation-loaded" surveys, so with this in mind I would like to say that Health Paws has met, and in some senses, exceeded my expectations. It is unusual for a company to have such a well-developed and consistently applied consumer-oriented culture. It is most appreciated, and I would not have any hesitation is recommending it to anyone needing pet insurance; in fact, I've done so several times. I can't imagine an alternative that would be more satisfactory for me and my dogs.
