I didn’t get a clear answer to my questions. The answer to me was, well if you you did this then this is the answer, but if you did this, then this is the answer. Well I still don’t have the answer to what I asked. I wanted to know when and how I would receive my reimbursement. I am canceling Pets Best Insurance this week. Thanks

Perfect Service to PATHETIC and outrageous prices!
Healthy Paws was the most amazing pet insurance with incredible customer service. They have turned out to be the worst company ever with ZERO customer service. I started with them in 2013 and I paid around $35.00 a month. It was raised to $76.20 on December of 2020, which I justified because they were amazing. When I received my bill on January 29,2021 I called and cancelled my policy because the insurance was raised again to $114.30 a month. When I received my credit card bill in February they charged my credit card twice for $114.30 totaling $228.60 after the policy was cancelled. I have spent endless hours trying to resolve this issue and they keep sending an email that they will contact me within three days and never do. It has been months and they DO NOT return phone calls and I have not been reimbursed. I have referred this insurance to my friends, neighbors, co workers and his daycare and everyone is dealing with the same issue. All of our prices went sky high and they keep charging our credit cards. We are contacting the BBB and disputing our charges with our credit cards. DO NOT even consider insuring your pet with this unethical business. They were sold in December of 2020 and the new business owner/owners are con artists!

There is no point in paying for this.
There is no point in purchasing an insurance plan to be told that your pet has a pre existing condition even if there is no prof of it. The vet and hospital can’t find anything pre existing in their records yet the insurance is claiming that. We were promised that as long as the dog was healthy and medical records didn’t show issues, the surgery would be covered. We kept the insurance and paid on it for almost a year every month. He needed a surgery and the insurance claims the issue was pre existing yet we bought the insurance only a few days after getting the puppy. Now we have a 4,000 bill and a monthly payment each month only to be told they don’t cover anything. Unbelievable.

Annual rate increases of 10% every year
This claim process was fairly simple and straightforward and well handled by your folks, but I am still highly concerned with how my rates increase by 10% every year. Each year on our renewal anniversary, just like clockwork, the rates rise by 10% and consequently they have tripled since we started with this program. I have spoken with your client services folks and they always provide me with the same justification for the increases.

Trupanion was amazing while our pup spent 5 days in the emergency hospital. They were so kind and patient. They arranged everything with the hospital and we only had to pay our portion of the bill. What a relief at a very stressful time. Everyone we spoke to was amazing!

I bought pet insurance for my new puppy and added the puppy wellness package to cover him from the start.
He has visited the vet twice for his shots and wellness check. I’m glad I have Pumpkin because it coved both visits. The claim was easy to submit online. They were very responsive and approved my claim within 24 hours. I love that I can either direct deposit or retrieve the check online. It makes taking care of my pup very quick and very easy.
