Nationwide pet insurance works like a charm. We have a a 4-month old puppy who has needed his regular checkup and shots and it was simple to send receipts to Nationwide, which credited the deductible and sent us checks for 90% of the remainder - there was a brief delay due to the pandemic but totally understandable. We love our furry friends and feel secure that Nationwide will be (an have been for our other pets) supporting us in our effort to keep them well and happy.

The process was easy!
The process was easy. It is a little scary when they tell you that the covered amount will be based on the medical records and the need for the procedure but in the end they took care of everything I had expected. They were running a little behind because of COVID but they kept me informed of delays and I got my payment before the date they told me.

Giant Dog = Giant Savings
Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a checkbook saver!! While it is more expensive upfront for full coverage, boy when you need it definitely pays for itself. We have never had insurance for our pets in the past, but with our new fur-baby we decided (after reading a ton on various blogs) to purchase. So happy with our decision and the help Nationwide has given us.

Better than my own insurance
My dog has had her share of incidents that needed medical attention. These visits can get expensive very fast and I am so happy I decided to get insurance years ago because it’s worth every penny. Nationwide is hands down the best pet insurance folks out there. Policy is simple, straight forward and they don’t make claims difficult at all.

Fast reimbursement !!
I recently had to bring my cat for multiple visits due to an infection. The claims were almost all covered other than a few items. The reimbursement process was easy and I was always reimbursed within a week of submitting claims. Thank you nationwide!

"BLESSING" DISAPPOINTED! that you stopped reimbursing for Hills I/D Digestive Care Prescription Diet canned food IMPORTANT!
Per Dr. Eby at Northern Animal Clinic in Midland, MI: "Sasha Rose needs to Hill's Prescription Diet I/D canned food for her digestive tract & terrible allergies. You did reimburse for it, and somebody at you office advised me recently that last September (2019) I approved a change in her coverage. I WAS NOT AWARE OF IT. I will keep the insurance, especially for costly injury repairs., etc. Thanks for asking: The broken toe is fully recovered.
