Healthy paws is a lifesaver
I am so incredibly happy and lucky to have gotten healthy paws. Every person I have talked tomover the phone is wonderful. I bought the insurance the day after I picked my puppy up, 6 months later she ate a piece of towel. Of course it's a Sunday night at 9pm so I rush her to emergency clinic (which is always more $) she wouldn't have made it through the night. She made it through surgery $3000, and they paid 90% no questions asked. Every claim I put in they are very quick to get me money back. Recently my dog tore her ACL soni had to bring her toa specialized orthopedic surgeon, they did surgery $6700 later she is stitched up and on the heal. I submitted my claim at 1130 am while waiting for her to be released, by 4pm the same day I got an email saying I have a check in mail for $6040. I really can't say how much of a lifesaver they have been for me I don't have a single complaint about them, they even send emails asking ow she's doing after her knee surgery. I will never have a dog without healthy paws I recommend them to all my family and friends. The crazy thing is it's easier to submit a claim and your money comes faster than human insurance.

We got Trupanion insurance from the…breeder
We got Trupanion insurance from the breeder when we bought our Labrador retriever puppy. We continued it, thinking that we probably wouldn't use it, as this was our third Labrador and the other two hadn't had any major issues. We were completely wrong, we absolutely needed Trupanion. Our puppy has had surgery on both front legs, one back knee, and has the second knee scheduled in 2 weeks. The sum of the bills will exceed $15,000 and Trupanion has never questioned the veterinarian's opinion or need for the procedures. Throughout the entire process the team at Trupanion has been extremely helpful, and has paid every claim in full, quickly, and with few questions. Frankly, I wish my personal health insurance was as expeditious and professional as Trupanion. In addition to the great service, if you do need to call them, every single person has been kind and understanding, clearly caring about both the pet and the owners as they make difficult decisions. We feel very fortunate to have Trupanion pet insurance, it definitely puts our puppy's interests first... THANK YOU!!!

Clients at the vet's are happy with it
I was referred to this insurance by my vet's secretary because many of their clients use it and are very happy with their policy. Personally I like the coverage, the cost, etc. I'd rather pay and never have to use it for other than the norm!

Insurance with Compassion
I've had Healthy Paws for over 10 years and they've always been great to work with. Recently, however, my 1 dog has had to undergo a lot of extensive and expensive treatments. I can't say enough about how wonderful they've been. I've had my reimbursement in my account the next day [of submittig the claim] and they've sent me persoal emails checking in on Zoey to see how she's doing. Those personal touches of compassion really sets them apart. I've referred 2 people to them and they themselves are happy as well.

I have the wellness benefit, but they won’t cover wellness!!
My dog’s annual exam was not covered for some reason. I haven’t heard back from customer service, and I will likely switch my pet to another company instead of renewing with Pet’s Best.

I don't remember how I came across Healthy Paws pet insurance...it was years ago. But I'm glad it did. My dog Tillie has had chronic health issues and Healthy Paws has always paid promptly. She recently had gall bladder surgery and the bill was almost $10,000. Healthy Paws paid 80% of this within a week. Pet insurance isn't cheap and the premiums go up as they age. But with Tillie, the cost has balanced out in our favor and we don't have to put a monetary value on our pet's well-being. Having pet insurance for out two "babies" has been well worth the peace of mind.
