Rip-Off simply Horrible waste of Money

I had (as I just cancelled the Policy) insured my three year old Boston Terrier from the time she was eight weeks. Through time the premiums were increased substantially however reimbursement was minimal IF any in fact as there was always some exclusion. Plans are confusing and even agents are not clear on them. When I initially registered my dog I was told that I would also have liability which I recently found out that they do not provide. Each time I submitted a claim, there was always a problem and you would have to chase them. I sincerely hope that anyone thinking of insuring their pet with them reads all the reviews --for myself it is better to put away in "Doggy Fund" the fluctuating amount(s) they charged each month.

Quick and efficient service

I was hesitant to purchase pet insurance for my cats because I had heard negative stories. I researched and decided upon Embrace and have never regretted it! They are easy to contact, prompt and very fair.Our Spike developed constipation and some urinary problems. The bill was over $1000. Within a week I received email notice that Embrace would pay everything minus our 20% deductible.

my monthly dues shot way up

wondering if my monthly dues went from about 83 to about 97 just because our dog has been pretty sick. its enough to make us reconsider dropping policy.... however, besides that they have been doing an excellent job and are always very pleasant and helpful on the phone and have been taking care of all claims that have qualified. would like to see where they got their information regarding the vet cost in our area going up. if it was a valid reason then would like to see how they arrived at it. otherwise really wondering if that is a true statement or its because they have had to pay out a lot on our dog.

Mast Cell Tumor Removal

My dog had 3 mast cell tumors which needed to be removed. I all happened very quickly and was obviously a very stressful time. Trupanion was quick to respond to the claim and even dealt with the Vet directly. They covered their portion without delay. Customer service is outstanding throughout this company and was genuinely heartfelt. I strongly recommend this company as they do not give you the run-around. They strictly mean business. I will stay with Trupanion, without a doubt.

Prompt response by a real person

My Charlie had a very strange episode. He was clearly uncomfortable, and was making strange head movements. I had no idea what was wrong with him. I videoed it to show the vet. We rushed him to the emergency vet, since my vet wouldn't be available for hours. He didn't demonstrate any of the symptoms by the time we got there, but had him checked out anyway. We agreed to the xrays, but declined blood work. Ended up being a bill around $550 with no clear diagnosis of what happened. Embrace reimbursed me $324.51. Claim was handled promptly and I was able to work with a real person! I'm very please with Embrace.

Wish They Would Cover Me!

Have been using Embrace for about 8 years and they never disappoint. If my insurance covered me like Embrace covers my furry friends - I would be rich! I cannot say enough about these folks - they are always there. When one of my friends crosses the bridge, I get a beautiful card signed by the staff. I often get personal emails checking up on one of them. You cannot get this kind of service and caring from a mega-company listed on the stock exchange.

Great Service, Quick Claim Handling, Caring Staff!

We have a Jack Russell Terrier that is very active and when he reached 2 yrs old, we decided to get insurance for him. We chose Healthy Paws after the great review and great prices. 6 months into our policy, our dog played too hard at the dog park and came home limping. We took him to the vet and we found out it was a torn ACL and he needed surgery. Healthy Paws took care of it all and we got our claim taken care of in less than a week. They even followed up with us to ask how our dog was doing. Great service, great people and even better, a really quick reimbursement. Can't ask for more!

Very Satisfied!

My dog had surgery to repair his ruptured disc in his back . . . It took less than 2 weeks to get our 90% reimbursement check in the mail! We got almost $5,500 back on our claim of $6,500!
