I have been with Trupanion for 4 years…
I have been with Trupanion for 4 years and they have been nothing but useless. They determine everything to be a pre-existing condition. My vet even said my dogs neck pain has nothing to do with his leg pain but somehow Trupanion makes up its own diagnosis which doesn’t even make sense and isn’t even a confirmed diagnosis by the vet! They say the symptoms are related to possible intervertebral disc disease when my dog has never even been diagnosed! So if my dog was jumping for his ball and fell on his side and has a sore leg, he all of a sudden is diagnosed with a disease as per Trupanion and not my vet!??? This is their own guess! I’m not one to write reviews but I am shocked with how this company is run. Save yourself and open up a saving account and put money away.

Nationwide is the best.
I needed to take Abby to an emergency hospital. Thank goodness she's fine. I submitted my claim to Nationwide on line, attached relevant materials, and reimbursement of costs made in approximately a week.
