Pet insurance - Elderly cat

We have the illness/accident insurance plan for years. It has certainly helped offset our expenses as our elderly cat developed a thyroid problem and joint pain the last couple of years. The claims are processed quickly and a follow up call from the claim dept. helps insure that you are aware the claim is processed and if there are any questions. They also seem genuinely concerned about the health of your pet.

Simple...A Breeders Peace of Mind!

I wouldn't be without my ASPCA insurance. I am a breeder of Pomeranians and even though I have had this insurance on several of my foundation dogs for many years, I have only had to use it two or three times. But the peace of mind that it brings just knowing it is in place is priceless! The people that I have spoken to are all very nice and receptive and willing to help.

Absolutely best pet insurance company out there!

My 9 year old dog tore his ligament in his knee. He just had surgery, nearly $7,000! Healthy Paws turned the claim around in a day. Great insurance company! Does not use "customary" charges to reduce benefits - so I could take my beloved pet to the best doctor I could find. This is the second surgery he has had, as well as other illnesses, and Healthy Paws was great in every case. Also have flexibility to choose coverage %'s and premiums. Best decision I have made for my pet!!!

Refunds for chronic conditions couldn't be eaiser

We've been dealing with a serious, chronic condition for the last year and Embrace's handling of the claims could not be easier!! For example, another routine cancer check resulted in a very large bill on a Friday. The hospital submitted the bill to Embrace later that day and I had the EOB the following Friday. All covered. No questions asked. And this was over a holiday weekend too! I can't thank Embrace enough for giving me one less thing to worry about so I can put that extra worry towards my dog :)

Great customer service & communication

My dog was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in both shoulders and bony growths in his left shoulder. Even though he was past the six-month orthopedic waiting period, I am glad that I chose to make an appointment and have my vet fill out the Orthopedic Report Card (decreases wait period to two weeks), because this is a chronic and lifetime condition. I would have really been kicking myself if I did not, because he is only seven years old, I would never have guessed he would get such severe arthritis so young. I say be safe and do the report card. Filing this claim was really confusing to me, because the suspected problem turned out not to be the problem after the radiographs were read by a professional. Do I submit the claim form for the suspected diagnosis plus the one for the final diagnosis? (No) I went back just for a medication refill, does the vet have to fill out a claim form every time I need meds? (No, but a claim form is still needed). I decided to call Embrace about this. The CSR was SO helpful and when I had questions related to the illness coverage, she checked with a claims adjuster before answering, she wanted to be 100% sure. I really appreciated that. Uploading the claims on the website is how I chose to submit my documents. Super easy, easy instructions, simple and fast to do. I give high marks to Embrace Pet Insurance.

Wonderful to have!

This summer our dog developed a urinary tract infection. We had to take her to both an emergency vet and then follow up with our normal vet. Our insurance ended covering a decent amount of the costs, and the claim is very easy to submit. Turn around time to receive the check was between 3-4 weeks. And, they followed up to see how Maisey was doing. Very nice!!

Can't say enough, best decision ever!

I never had pet insurance before but after I got my first dog, I decided to get it knowing as he got older he might be prone to hip dysplasia due to his breed. Little did I know that just 3 months after I took out the policy, my dog would get hit by a car on the highway. He almost didn't live through the night and he had 2 paralyzed legs. In those first days, it was such a relief to know that all I had to worry about was my dog and not how much it was going to cost to save him. Over the course of the next year and a half, I took him to a rehab facility for intensive rehab, trying to save his paralyzed leg (one healed itself, the other did not). Two years later, we accepted that the paralyzed leg was not going to heal like his other one did and we made the very difficult decision to amputate. Throughout all of this, I can't begin to express what a relief it was to know I could make decisions about what was best for my dog, and not what I could afford. In all, I estimate his medical bills have come to around $30,000 or more and Healthy Paws paid 90%. I can't say enough about how wonderful Healthy Paws was during these stressful times. At least 98% of my claims were processed within 24 hours (sometimes in as little as 2 hours!). They have even reached out to ask how my dog was doing and wished us well. What insurance company does that? My friends and family all agree that my dog has better insurance than they do! Oh, and I was afraid his premiums would go up after I started submitting claims, but it only went up like one dollar, literally! I couldn't believe it. I will be a customer for life. I am so grateful for Healthy Paws.

Genuinely helpful claim's process

Currently we have found ASPCA most professional and helpful in working through a complicated surgical situation that had to be stopped in order to determine previously unsuspected cancer. Fortunately the results were benign. The original surgery was then referred to a specialist. What appeared to be 2 surgeries for the same condition at 2 different veterinary clinics was actually 2 separate surgeries. The first for cancer and the second for TPLO. Every one has been courteous and genuinely concerned that we receive reimbursement for a most expensive journey for our Maggie. Soon she will be bounding into the future.

Excellant choice for Pet Insurance

Now that our boy is getting older we like to have a check up 2 times a year-- at vaccination time. We also have his hips, legs and elbows checked. Thank goodness he is perfectly healthy -the ASPCA insurance is awesome. Pays quick, no stress, no issues and the reimbursement amount is very decent. I never want to use it -they can have our money for it, but protecting our little man is very important because tomorrow can bring anything. I highly recommend using the ASPCA for all your Pet insurance needs

ASPCA Pet Insurance has been Amazing

My dog Wesley has been very ill over the last 2 years and ASPCA has covered a great deal of the costs which were high. They have paid very quickly and always acknowledged receipt of my claims.Furthermore they called to see how my dog was doing. I really appreciate their help.
