Small print always gets me
The claims system works great. My only issue is that I keep finding out how many things are not covered by the insurance and end up paying almost 100% of veterinary care costs. But it's all in the small print so nothing to do about it but keep paying more for dog insurance than I pay for my kids' insurance.

When I bought HealthyPaws health…
When I bought HealthyPaws health insurance for our dog I wondered about the coverage and the customer service, especially given how health insurance for people can be difficult to navigate and to get coverage for medical problems. HealthyPaws online reviews were good so I thought I'd take a chance. Well I was not disappointed. When our precious labradoodle, Lily, was stricken with thyroid cancer we were fortunate enough to find a veterinary radiation oncologist who could treat her fairly advanced cancer. The radiation treatments were not cheap but they were effective and she is making good progress towards recovery. When I submitted the invoices for reimbursement I worried about whether HP would cover her treatments and medication. They did and with no hassles! It was an easy process and they covered both the radiation therapy and the follow-up medications. Based on my experience. I would highly recommend HealthyPaws. Wish the human health insurance companies provided as good service and concern for the patient as HP has. 5 Stars.
