We took our puppy in on a Friday Eve and we submitted our claim that evening. It was approved by the morning and we were able to receive his treatments. It was so fast and hassle free.

I called to discuss the rate increase and received very bad customer service. I called back to cancel the insurance. After talking to Joe Koenen, he explained the reason for the rate increases in simple terms, and he helped me find a rate that met my budget. He was kind, professional, and empathetic with my concerns. That's all I wanted.

My dog was vomiting with blood so I needed to have some xrays with resulted in the need for an ultrasound. I brought my claim forms and had the vets fax to Trupanion, with in a week I had received reimbursement for the % covered. My dog suffered a "sports injury". He had a limp that wan't going away. So we were able to get him mediation and an x-ray to confirm that he did not require surgery at this time.
