Peace of mind

My Princess had a sore on her vulva that worried me. It didn't go away so the vet treated her for a UTI and gave me some topical ointment. She still kept bothering it so we finally did a biopsy which was undetermined. Eventually we went through two more antibiotic regiments and it finally resolved. But knowing it wasn't cancer, stones, or Brucellosis gave me great peace of mind. The insurance was right on the spot with their response and how they handled my claim. I am very happy with the people that you talk to on the phone. One of the nicest customer service group that I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

A life saver... Literally

Getting pet insurance is the best decision Ive ever made for my pets. I learned the hard way by going through a tough situation with a dog that ended up passing. I was unable to afford a 5k surgery and had to make the hardest decision as a pet owner. Now my two cats both have insurance through VPI. As rescues you never know what type of health issues may arise. I've never had to submit a claim for one and the other has needs lots of medical attention. VPI has allowed me to give them both the best care possible. You never know what will happen and the policies are very affordable and a small price for peace of mind.

Be VERY AWARE of renewal dates

DO NOT have any wellness/vaccinations/etc prior to renewal date. One claim per policy year or it is NOT covered. Diva was four days early and NO coverage for policy year. Loyal pet customer for ten years and no grace period. I am NOT a satisfied client even though I should have watched date!!!

Fast and efficient

Trupanion in great. My mini Schnauzer got bit by another dog (my dog got out of gate and ran up to a dog on a leash, so sort of my fault). Deep punctures on snout and back of neck. Ran to the emergency room - $900 later all is well with my mini, and trupanion covered 90% of the vet bill, no questions! Glad I had them!

Great Company

Caring staff, nearly complete coverage that is easily modifiable depending on what you want for a deductible or a monthly payment and best of all they covered my puddy's meds. They're really fast if you have a vet that uses Trupanion Express, a system that allows the company to respond within hours. Also, be sure before you begin the coverage you get the Pawprint done and ask your vet to update your records with the company from time to time; both will save time in the long run.

Amazing Customer Service!!

Embrace is absolutely the best! They handle each claim in a timely manner and go above and beyond with their customer service. Our dog recently had surgery on his knee and they answered all of my questions about filing and even followed up to make sure that I had received the claim. Thank you so much! Why can't health insurance companies be like them?

I submitted 2 claims for my new English Bulldog puppy last week. I just got an email this morning that they were reimbursing me on the 1st claim that has been processed. They are super fast and very kind. I called customer service (was never put on hold), spoke with Tyler and he got me set up with direct deposit in less than a couple minutes. I am 100% HAPPY that we got Embrace!! We will never have another pet without it!

Great service

I have had healthy paws for my 7 year old black lab mix for 6 years now. I have never filed a claim until this year. Starting in January, Finn started to experience some weight gain and issues with his back legs. The weight issues were related to Cushing's Disease (a problem with the pituitary gland), and is controlled with medication. The knee issues turned out to be two torn ACLs. Finn has just recently had his first surgery, and is scheduled for his second in a few months. Since I had never filed a claim with Healthy Paws before, I really had no idea how service would be. The most I had really dealt with their service department before was to update expiring credit card information. I was a bit worried, since the first claims I would be sending in would be rather large, but Healthy Paws couldn't have been easier to deal with. From the time the claim was filed (I had about 10 different claim forms from various vet visits and surgeries) to the time a check was in the mailbox was maybe four or five business days at most. For the smaller claims like medication, the claim was processed the same day. For the large surgery claim, it was only a couple of days for it to be processed (completely understandable since the claim was so large). It was really great peace of mind to be able to make sure my wife and I could make decisions about the health of our best friend without worrying about the financial side of things. Healthy Paws has been absolutely wonderful. They've really helped us, and with a completely friendly attitude about everything as well. I've been recommending them to friends, and couldn't be happier.

Great Service

I had to appeal an initial claim but I did understand why. Once Trupanion consulted with my veterinarian and understood the situation, it was immediately resolved. They were quick to review all the information, helpful on the phone and a great service makes this business a pleasure to work with! I just added my cat to this service and would not hesitate to recommend it. I cannot possibly be happier.

First time claim

My 5 year old Golden Retriever had a small lump on her chest. Was removed and turned out to be a Sarcoma. Completely removed with clear margins. Insurance claim paid within 2 weeks. Fantastic service, very easy. I'm very happy that I chose Embrace four years ago.
