figo is the best pet insurance out door. Figo covers more for less. My dog had an acl surgery. a few months later the other knee had to be done. processed in 3 days. I started with preferred. with 5 months to go i only had 4 thousland left for coverage. I was able to up the coverage to ultimate for unlimited payout coverage. I recommend Figo to my vet and all my friends. Figo is a life saver.

I can't tell you how many people I have recommended EMBRACE Pet Insurance to. I dog sit for a living, have worked at vets a big part of life and owned over 20 dogs. I now do not work for a vet and have moved to a new area so pay what everyone else does.. ouch! We decided to get pet insurance last year and I did exhausting comparisons. I chose EMBRACE because you can choose your deductible and coverage levels which impacts your monthly coverage. Other than that, the only real factor on price is your pets age. We recently had our sweet golden diagnosed with two brain tumors and traveled to UC Davis, California from Washington State for advanced radiation treatment, the only treatment available for this. It was expensive. Of course we had the stay at a local hotel and travel expenses, but the peace of mind EMBRACE gave me because they had already pre-certified the procedure is beyond what words can describe. I chatted with so many people in the waiting area whose pets were getting treatment that had no pet insurance.. well, they are going to look in to EMBRACE now! It is also comforting to know EMBRACE covers holistic/acupuncture treatments we also had done for our girl, the multiple consultations we had to do to find the best treatment path and will also cover hospice care and humane euthanasia at our home when the time comes (our last golden passed from a different cancer in September) and EMBRACE covered the at home euthanasia. (deductible had been met) she was able to pass calmly away at home in her own bed with her human and doggy family at her side. They sent us a sympathy card, made a donation in her name to a hospital that helps rescues and had a virtual candle lit for her. It just doesn't get any better than this folks. Pick the coverage you can afford, in our case it was for a major illness or injury (so a high deductible) and was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The year before we had decided to get pet insurance we spent well over $10,000 trying to save two of our dogs, who both passed away no matter how hard we tried. we were left with broken hearts and big credit card bills. I feel confident our relationship will continue as long as I am fortunate enough to have a fur-child by my side. I switched to Embrace when I got a new dog (rescued a Lab) 3 years ago. There has been a qualitative and pleasant upgrade in the customer service and breadth of coverage from my previous experiences.

In November 2016 I got a puppy.....and decided to check into dog insurance and boy oh boy was I lucky that I did.....fast forward 3 months and my puppy had to have surgery to the tune of over $5k! Thank God for Embrace Insurance. Not only did they cover the majority of the cost, they actually reimbursed me quickly. They communicated with me during the process and are TRUE to their word! I'm telling EVERYONE about the incredible coverage with Embrace! Do yourself a favor, sign up!!!! Don't wait until something bad happens, be prepared!

I submitted a claim on my accident policy in December 2015 when my dog was limping after being out playing. I was told after a couple of months that more information was needed so I obtained that from the vet and submitted it. No follow-up has occurred beyond April 2016 when I called once again. The company did not reach out to me. The claim was not filled and no explanation has been given. The possible return would have been about $300 which I didn't think was very big. I also have had 3 pets insured with this company for 3 years with no other claims so I will be switching providers. I could not be more disappointed in this company. The only nice thing I can say is that they have lovely graphic design on their plan packages.

First part of my rottie' s exam has already been reimbursed. Up coming claims for treatment for her condition has been discussed and has been approved. Very pleased with this insurance plan so far. All representatives have been very polite and accommodating.

I always maintain that my best decision in life was getting my loving bullmastiff, Semi (pronounced Simmee). When you adopt a bullmastiff, it goes with the territory that major issues like torn CCLs, back problems, and hip dysplasia are all, most likely, in your future. But I still did not make the decision to get insurance, thinking the monthly fee would not be worth it. Fast forward a year and half of ownership and one $500 vet bill later, I decided pet insurance was the way to go. The second best decision in life was choosing Healthy Paws as my pet insurance, because sure enough, a month after my waiting period ended, Semi jumped off the bed and tore her CCL. Due to a misdiagnoses from a vet, we didn't end up fixing her first left until six months later. But that was not a problem with Healthy Paws, they worked with me the whole time. Semi's size automatically puts her in the TPLO surgery category, and only specialist vets would do. So despite having waiting a bit to fix her leg and having to see a specialist, Healthy Paws, paid for the surgery and all follow-up medications. I had my reimbursement check within one week of submitting her full medical records and the surgical bill. I was very impressed. However, even though Healthy Paws had already been a tremendous asset to mine and Semi's life, when they calming took my worried phone call about covering leg number two, six weeks after the first surgery, they became invaluable. They were more than willing to cover the second surgery, since they had covered the first, and helped me through the whole process. They even went as far as sending me an email after my second claim personally asking how she was recovering since she had, had two major surgeries. With Healthy Paws Insurance, you are not only getting help financially, but you are getting a support system to provide the best care possible for your pet. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they truly have been to us.

I honestly wouldn't be able to have a dog if it wasn't for Embrace, I just don't have the padding in my bank account to be able to bounce back from expensive medical surprises without incurring more credit card debt than I can handle. I am grateful that Embrace covers so much, and does so simply and efficiently. I also appreciate that it feels like a small enough company that if you write to someone they actually write you back themselves, and if you call to speak to a real human without having to wait on hold for a really long time.

I had worked with another company only to be given the "run around"; tried to get payments from them which were totally justified. No response, just took our monthly fees. Now they are in trouble with the State of Michigan Insurance system for this. The opposite experience with Embrace, recommended by USAA. Courteous, pleasant and pays on time. Great! 4 stars!
