ASPCA cares about my dog

I have had two claims for my Puggle. The claims process is seamless and I was reimbursed in less than two weeks. I received caring phone inquiries from a very compassionate representative. Highly recommend

embrace has been paying my kitty layla's claims.

Embrace has impressed and pleased me by paying for treatments related to eosinophilia for my kitty, Layla. Layla is being treated for allergies, and I really appreciate the fact that the treatments are being honored. The treatments are helping Layla. My vet clinic is also very impressed with Embrace and the visits it has honored.

Trupanion

Trupanion is the best insurance by far. The personnel are knowledgeable about the products they offer, and are kind, compassionate and professional and truly care about the pet's and the pet parent's they serve. The prices are affordable and tailor each policy to the needs of each pet, on an individual basis. I highly recommend Trupanion to friends and family and anyone seeking pet insurance.

Highly Recommend

I used to have another pet insurance with another company and Healthy Paws is definitely much better. It is affordable. I love the unlimited lifetime coverage. A 90% deductible is the highest deductible I have seen compare to other pet insurance. Submitting claims is super easy and I get my reimbursement check(s) right away. Although I wish they would cover preventative services as well (i.e. vaccinations, etc.) I still highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance to anyone looking for insurance for their furbabies.

Delays Delays Delays

I signed up with Trupanion last November for my two senior dogs. One dog had a UTI within the 18 month prior window, so I am aware that any UTIs are considered pre-existing and will not be covered. That same dog ended up having to be admitted as her blood work returned abnormal kidney values, suspected kidney disease or addison's disease. Upon further tests, they found a blockage in her ureter causing urine backup into her kidney, which was then causing it to fail. This required surgery as soon as possible - quoted at 10k. Surgery was scheduled for 11a the following day, and required pre-approval from Trupanion as the vet agreed to have them pay directly to them. 12pm days of surgery rolls around and still no word. Turns out they were trying to relate her issue to the UTI, therefore not covering it. After multiple phone calls, my vet was able to push the request through and they approved. Surgery costs were to be paid directly to vet and any cost other than surgery (her stay of 5 days) I had to pay out of pocket and that would be paid to me. This was almost 3 weeks ago. They have not paid my vet and they have not paid me for my portion (6k). When I call to ask for an update, I get the same answer, that they are waiting on urine analysis results from my vet at the time of admitting. AGAIN trying to tie this to a UTI that was non-existent. I've spoken to three vets and all of them are dumbfounded as to how this is even a question with them.
