Great Pet Insurance

Our 9yr old beagle was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma tumor in her mandible (lower jaw). Devastating news, but with the advice of numerous experts in the field, including two university veterinary schools, we learned of an advanced radiation treatment combined with chemotherapy that had the potential for a greatly increased life span. While there are no guarantees in a cancer fight, our stress levels were reduced knowing that a large portion of our bills would be covered by Embrace. The claims processing has been very smooth, especially with Katie at Embrace taking the lead to resolve any issues. With the proper substantiation from our medical providers, Embrace covered all of our claims without question. Very quick responses to all of our claims.

Nice experience with first claim

My young golden evidently got an insect bite by his eye so his eyelid was all swollen. Took him in because it was a bit scary and something could even have been stuck in his eye. The claim process was super easy and they paid exactly as I expected :)

Elated with Embrace

Ive wanted a pet insurance company for some time but never felt the juice was worth the squeeze. Embrace has already proven that they're the exception that proves the rule. Quick claim turnaround. Great support staff. I cannot say enough with how happy I am. I'm a customer for life.

Excellent service

I've been fortunate to have limited need for the insurance but when used, the processing of claims has been prompt and I have been pleased with the amount recovered. Coverage seems to be better than 2 other plans I've looked at. Customer service personnel are outstanding.

All the best in the universe !

Our 4 year lab grew cataracts overnight in her right eye, causing blindness within a short week. Her left eye had a small cataract blooming and we were off to the eye doctor for immediate help to ensure we were getting the best care for her. Her eye doctor determined she was a good candidate for cataract surgery and when I called Healthy Paws to make sure it was covered,since it was a big surgery for both eyes, and they assured me that anything related to the diagnostic, medication, surgery and follow up/maintenance care would all be covered in her policy - minus our portion. Her Pre-op claim was submitted on 8/5, processed/paid on 8/9. Her surgery claim was submitted on 8/9, processed and paid on 8/9. With an accumulated charege over $4700, I am being reimbursed $4200 of it - and that is only because our annual deductible is due.. outstanding!! I don't think i have ever waited longer than 4 days to receive a check - the turn around is that fast. Whether the vet submits or I submit online myself, Healthy Paws communicates every process from claim received, claim in process and finally the EOB. Outstanding! If there are any questions about reimbursement that aren't already readily available on the EOB, the service folks are always willing to assist and perform their duties with skill, knowledge and personality! You actually speak to a person with compassion and understanding and kindness! They take the financial worry out of our vet care and allow us to make sure our babies have every option available to them, no matter the injury or illness. It is so nice to get an email from a claims person making sure that our baby is ok after processing a claim. An actual inquiry, like they know us! Personalized service, excellent coverage, outstanding turnaround - I don't think there are enough words to express how fortunate we are to have HP coverage...truly, awesome !!

Excellent service!

ASPCA Insurance has provided me with peace offend knowing they will be there for my do, Brigit. They pay claims time and follow up on every claim. Their direct deposit feature is very convenient.

One of our little puppies hurt his paw and y'all were right there and so helpful, he is just fine and you put the fee on the deductible so thank you so much. In the wink of an eye I received an email from y'all after the vet office contacted y'all. Thank you so much, wonderful service!

Setting this insurance up for my fur children was a bit complex as Embrace wanted all prior records. I understand why, so I wasn't upset. The ease of filing a claim is great. I take the form in with me and have the vet sign it right as she does the exam. My vet doesn't really like insurance as she says she will have to increase her fees if she has to hire more office staff to complete the forms and fax prior records. This she can handle. She just has to write a quick note and sign. All I do is scan and email the claims to embrace (or the vet can fax it directly). Embrace acknowledges receipt within 24 hours and over 75% of my claims are complete within two days and the money goes directly to my bank, usually within 24 hours. When I signed up--puppy wellness insurance was not an option. I would highly recommend it and think the estimate of $700 is well in the ball park. We brought our newest baby home in late December and have spent $658 so far this year (includes spaying). It is now August and I will spend at least $100 more this year on wellness. Since we have three dogs I like the wellness benefit as I can budget what it will cost me into a monthly charge. I probably will increase the accident and illness coverage next year as I hear the costs are increasing dramatically. So far my one complaint is that my breed is not listed in the drop down list. Why didn't I get pet insurance sooner!!

I recently got 2 puppies and when I previously had dogs always meant to get insurance but thought why pay for something that I won't hardly use. I wish I'd had insurance for all my pets in the past. Right now especially since both dogs are puppies it seems like we're at the vet every 3 or 4 weeks. Embrace has been great about covering any receipts I send in. I've even had to increase the coverage for 1 of my puppies due to the amount of vet visits & the I was able to do it with no issues. Easy to work with and takes the stress out of vet visits, who could ask for more??

Embrace-great service, fast!

I've used another carrier previously, VPI, but was extremely dissatisfied with the predetermined low rates, the denial of claims for repeat issues, slow payments and lack of customer service. I found myself arguing with someone in California just to obtain a partial payment of claims submitted when my little pug died. As if I wasn't already upset enough! I've used Embrace for two years now and am very pleased. They pay promptly, and cover everything they say at the rates the vet charges. You might pay a little more, but its worth it.
