Recent ER experience made easier
I recently had to take my pup to the ER for undiagnosed vomiting and diarrhea. When the vet recommended ruling out additional testing (ultrasound, bloodwork) to rule out an obstruction, I didn't hesitate because I knew Pets Best would cover 90%. It did take a month to get the coverage reimbursed which is longer than normal, but the process for reimbursement is quite easy

So Slow and expensive for the high deductible….keep looking
Slow doesn’t even cover how slow they really are. This insurance has a high deductible- you are better off putting what you would pay in a savings account. Not worth it

Healthy Paws wouldn't cover an Unhealthy Paw!
I joined Health Paws in 2017 and have been quite happy with their service. Until now. My 4-year-old Border Collie tore a pad on his paw that required veterinary attention. I submitted the claim only to be told that they were declining to cover the costs as it was a pre-existing condition - a torn paw! Quite ironic given the company name is "Healthy Paws." They told me that it was declined on the basis of an injury he suffered as a puppy in 2017. The 2017 injury wasn't even a torn paw pad. I appealed the decision and they couldn't even be bothered to reply. This is on top of the fact that they keep increasing my premium with no explanation. I canceled my policy and will try my luck with Lemonade.

Get insurance somewhere else. My little guy needs a surgery to help his breathing. They denied it because his first exam said he had a small nose but is perfectly healthy. Well Trupanion every pug and breeds such as Boxers, Bulldogs, King Charles Spaniels, Pugs, Boston Terriers, Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, etc. have small nares! Go **** yourself you selfish money grubbing group of ********. You screwed me when i just want my puppy healthy. They don't cover any exam fees and either you have an extremely high monthly payment or a high deductible. After hours on the phone and having my veterinarian call them it all became a waste of time. After all this they say "GIVE JAX MY LOVE". SO FAKE! Go somewhere else!

Let me pay 50 bucks to wait 10 days to get coverage. Do you guys plan on reimbursement for the days not covered? Or do you lower first month to meet those days not covered. Sounds like You do neither appreciate it .

Reviewed at least 5 other companies and went back to this several times before choosing it. Did get email from them routinely which helped. I have has dogs since 1985 but this is only 2nd time I have had inside as other was big disappointment. Just got this dog in April , he was just 3 years after I got him and seems healthy but friend just had 10,000.00 vet bill but had insurance which made me decide
