Worth Every Penny!

The best thing I ever did was get pet insurance for my cats. I love these guys like family and it's great to not have to worry about how to pay for their care when they get sick or injured, which they do. I still have credit card debt from taking care of Dudley, my cat for 19 years. I would still treat him as I did, and I don't care about the bills, but if I had insurance when I had him, I just wouldn't have these bills. It's money I could have used to help with rescues, or even a possible vacation.

Embrace pet insurance is great.

This is our first venture with pet insurance and thought we would never need it but when our nine year old Miniature Pinscher developed a mass on her front leg Embrace was and is there for us.

So happy our fur babies are taken care of :0)

We just recently signed up with Embrace, and so far we are pleasantly pleased! We signed up to have wellness rewards (which has no wait for well exams etc) and had our new puppy was seen a day later. We put in a claim the same day and heard back about our claim the next day and was processed (a check sent also!) not too much longer after that! So far we are thrilled with service and process! It was made so easy, which makes the process less painful!

Don't do it! Scam

Stay away from this company. We didn't even get to a point where we could use the insurance and we realized they are a scam and only care about money. We have 5 cats and decided to look into getting insurance for them. Things started off fine. The rate for all 5 was reasonable and it seemed like a great idea. Then the problems started. First off we have two 11 year old cats and we were told they needed recent blood work and urine analysis to be insured. We mentioned how getting urine from these two cats is impossible as we've been told by are vet they are too fat to get urine and they refuse to use a litter box that has beads in it. We told the rep this when setting the insurance up. She then said it's up to the underwriter and led us to believe we could still get insurance without the urinalysis if the blood work was good. So off to the vet for blood work and exam costing $480. Then after sending all our documents in we are told they won't cover those two cats without the urinalysis. Lovely so we spent money getting the blood work for nothing. But you know what? I understand it's a risk to them so I'm fine with them not covering. My problem is they charged us for two months of insurance for these two cats and refuse to credit us back. They rather keep my $80 and risk bad reviews and me telling everyone I know not to use them. Seems smart to me. The fact the won't even do a good faith credit for this tells me they will be impossible to deal with when we actually do need to put in a claim. Also be aware of what your Vet has written about your animal before dealing with this company. They will use anything written as a way to get out of covering your animal. My vet wrote that one cat may have throat polyps due to her breathing on one visit. The cat was never tested and doesn't have throat polyps she is just anxious at the vet. Petsecure used that statement to exclude covering any respiratory issues with that cat. Save your money folks. Giant Scam!

Great service!!

Other than getting my puppy, buying this insurance was my best decision recently! Pet owners may think that it is expensive but when you think about it the insurance is so well worth it! I love receiving my wellness check when I have put out the money up front! I strongly recommend embrace to all pet owners.

Excellent Customer Service

After my boxer Lily was diagnosed and died from Lymphoma, I decided to get insurance from then on for any pet I owned. I did a lot of research and ultimately decided on Embrace as it had good reviews and it offered the most options in types of plans. When we got our new puppy in November, I had her on the insurance before we even got her. With a puppy you don't imagine you will have any problems until they are older. 5 months in and our puppy was diagnosed with renal dysplasia, a genetic condition. Embrace has been great with processing all of our claims and answered any questions we had. I have already told my vet to recommend them to anyone looking for insurance. My Embrace plan is helping to keep our puppy happy and healthy for as long as possible. Thank you!

Trupanion was best descion for our family.

Our vet suggested Trupanion pet insurance on our fur babies first appointment. We looked into it, chose the level we wanted, and have Ben extremely happy ever since.

When I Made The Choice To Tran…

When I made the choice to transfer from the insurance provider from the Humane Society, it was not sufficiently disclosed that portability is not the same for pets as it is for humans. Many of the issues that my pet has are denied, which is a HUGE disappointment.
