Quick and friendly service

Fantastic service

I'm about to renew my policy for the third year. It offers such a piece of mind. Thinking about adding my almost-senior dog as well because Frenchies can have lots of health issues and it's better to be safe than sorry. Although I don't like to have to file claims, I have experienced prompt service after my vet has submitted the information. Would recommend.

reimbursement of claims

We have an older cat who is always getting into trouble. There is never a dull moment. So we decided to continue his coverage. Its important to know that there is a deductible, but once that is met, reimbursement can be expected. Claims are processed readily. Customer service is knowledgeable, courteous, and understanding.

Very satisfied!

Excellent service and care provided by trupanion

Your compassion and service during my cat's emergency health problem was above and beyond. Each customer service representative helped me through the process of filing the claim with such compassion and care. The reimbursement check arrived in a timely manner. Truncation was very instrumental in helping us get through a very stressful time and getting our best buddy on the road to recovery. Thanks for everything.

Pinch Me! Unreal!

I am extremely pleased with my pet insurance with Healthy Paws. Never in my life have I experienced customer service like Healthy Paws; especially when dealing with claims on ANY insurance company. I've always been skeptical about the need for pet insurance but after my previous cat's accident and losing thousands of dollars towards his care, I vowed to look into pet insurance if I decided to get another pet. We did end up with a purebred Maine Coon named Gideon (GiddySmalls on Instagram - he's kinda famous - haha). I did extensive research and wanted the best coverage. Healthy Paws stood out. Still skeptical, I had some incidents that needed coverage. They were small claims so nothing to write home about, however, I was pleased on how easy it was to file a claim. All I needed to do was take a photo of the invoice from my vet using my phone and submit it via mobile app. No paperwork to fill out! No waiting for the vet to file the claim for you! The response was near immediate and the check arrived in about 5 business days. The payout amount was after your deductible was fulfilled so each time you filed a claim and there was a reimbursement, it went towards your deductible. After the deductible was satisfied, you would receive a check for amount owed. The big moment for us came when my Maine Coon decided to eat part of our rubber exercise mat. He needed to go to the ER for care and if you know anything about ERs - they are expensive. My cat needed extensive care and surgery which meant our bill climbed quickly near 6 grand. Who has that kind of money to spend these days for anything, let alone accidents? Afraid, I called Healthy Paws and told them about the situation and how I was scared that we weren't going to be covered because of how much they needed to do. Before going into my coverage, the representative actually emphasized with me and told me how sorry she was this was happening. She reassured me I would be taken care of based on my coverage and history. That gave me such a peace of mind; when you're already distraught over your pet being sick, the last thing you needed to stress over was finances. This relief allowed us to proceed with the necessary care. I made sure the vet gave us a line item invoice and like any other claim, I submitted it via mobile app. I called Healthy Paws to make sure it was received; we wanted this to process, like yesterday, because this care was paid for by credit card. Quick and Easy

My puppy was attacked by two dogs who had gotten out of their yard. Their owner graciously paid for the initial surgery and follow up. Unfortunately, my puppy's wound did not heal properly, requiring many more visits to the vet. Embrace has paid for each of these visits quickly. I'm so glad that we took out Embrace insurance on our new puppy. I'm hoping never to have to use it again, but it's good to know that it's there if we need it.

They want to deny claims for our dog, found as a stray with no collar or microchip or previous history. Somehow they state they have a note from some vet stating our dog was treated in October 2014 for allergies. Her effective date is 8-30-2015. None of my contacts with our vet, the rescue league, or the clinic that spayed her, have any such document! They also told me they have not received all the other claims, that were sent! My first impression is not positive, I guess I will have to fight tooth and nail to get anymore claims processed, and I will.

So easy!

I was so pleased with how easy and efficient the whole claims process was! Thank you for taking the worry about cost out of the decision of whether to get furthers tests done so I was able to find out why my furbaby was sick.
