Love Those Embracers!

My 9 year-old Black Lab just had his 3rd surgery covered by my Embrace policy! Ollie had ACL surgeries on both back legs several years ago and has now developed Medial Compartment Disease of the elbow resulting in a scope to remove a fragment. While at MedVet they found a melanoma on his iris resulting in enucleation of his eye. The folks at Embrace have always been so compassionate and have a history of processing our claims within a week. I couldn't be happier!

Used to be great to work with...

My dog has always been insured through Pet's First under a Premier Policy. They never gave me any problems with claims in the past, and my dog has always been very healthy aside from a couple minor incidents requiring surgery. I used to really like this company until they began imposing more limitations on coverage, and increasing premiums so very much. Here's what I'm now facing. As my dog just turned nine this past summer and has been slowing down a bit over the past year or so, we decided after his birthday to increase him to a $5k Lifetime Policy. Shortly after, we began to notice him behaving strangely. He was then diagnosed with lymphoma under his new $5k Lifetime Policy. This insurance company is not paying for his chemotherapy under the terms of his new policy though he was diagnosed weeks after the effective date. They are telling me that just because he was diagnosed on this particular date, doesn't mean he got cancer on this particular date. They are considering his condition "pre-existing" under his Premier Policy and will only pay up to his old benefit amount of $2,500, which they have done, I will say. However, I was told when I spoke to the agent to sign up for the new policy that any chronic condition that he received a diagnosis for under his new policy, would be covered in its entirety up to the designated coverage amount. That's why switching to this policy sounded like such a good idea; because God willing if something happened...we would be covered. Well, something did happen and now the story is changing on the company's end. I now have $2,700 remaining on my $5k benefit and this company is refusing to cover any additional cancer expenses as it appears they are using this as a loophole to weasel out of doing their part. My dog is only 1/3 of the way through his 25 week chemotherapy treatment and I cannot afford it on my own. Bottom line, my dog will in fact DIE much sooner than he ever would have and will likely suffer for a period of time if this company does not show some compassion and give us the remainder of the pay-out on our benefits. We have been loyal to this company and have paid them so much money for so many years in order to take preventative measures for our beloved dog, and this is how they treat us when we finally need them desperately? This is absolutely ridiculous. How are people to know that their dog has cancer without a proper diagnosis first? We did everything right. And why would we even think there was a si

Healthy Paws is the best

I have really enjoyed my experiences with Healthy Paws. I've been a customer for 4 years now. They are quick to respond, customer service is top notch, and they are very clear with billing and reimbursement. The app is also very easy to use and makes processing claims a breeze. UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER

I HAVE HAD THIS PLAN FOR MY TWO DOGS FOR OVER A YEAR. EVERY CLAIM I SUBMITTED, I RECEIVED SOME EXCUSE FOR NON COVERAGE. I OF COURSE WAS WELL PASY MY DEDUCTIBLE, BUT THEY ALWAYS CAME BACK WITH ANOTEHR REASON THEY COULDNT PAY THE CLAIM. AFTER 8 PLUS DENIALS, THEY THAN RAISED MY PREMIUM BY $50 PER MONTH WITHOUT HAVING PAID A DOLLAR IN RETURN. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND PLAN TO LET EVERYONE INC. BBB KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY WORKS. Trupanion - best pet insurance!

I was very pleased with Trupanion pet insurance after submitting a claim for my 7 yo dog. They were very professional, answered all my questions when I called, contacted the veterinarian (s) promptly, emailed me to let me know the staus of the claim, and made a determination as to reimbursement within 2 to 3 weeks.

Great Service!!!!!

I love the fact that customer service reps call to follow up on claims and any discrepancies that their might be on the account. Also I have been called as a follow up to appointments I have taken the dog to. The clinic also treats my dog so great and caring.
