Great coverage and customer service!

I am in my second policy year with Embrace for my rescue boxer and it seems that the more I work with Embrace on the many claims I have had to submit for my boxer's numerous health issues the more I am impressed with them. Please know that any pet insurance company will not cover pre-existing conditions so it is incredibly important to review all of your pet's medical conditions/issues before purchasing any insurance for them. Talk to an Embrace representative about what your pet has had in the past and ask a lot of questions about what constitutes a pre-existing condition. Keep in mind that you will have to meet your annual deductible (you choose the amount of your deductible) before Embrace will start reimbursing you (if you can go with 90% reimbursement). Also purchase the RX Plan if you can because medications can get very expensive and add up quickly. With all that being said, Embrace has helped me keep my boxer as I would not have been able to keep him due to how much money it would have cost me in vet bills and medications if I didn't have insurance. Everyone I speak to there is caring and respectful and answers all of my questions (and I ask a lot of them!). If you are ever denied a claim call them and ask questions about the reasons that went into that denial and I guarantee they will work with you and let you know how to appeal a denial. Take if from someone who is not rich and who values good customer service above price - purchasing insurance through Embrace is one of the best things you could do to help your pet!

Great Experience

We had several claims when our dogs had a toe amputated and they were all processed very timely. Also, customer service was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

They are the poorest example of Customer Service!

Just got off the phone with Albert who said that they now have 60 days to process claims; news to me and not what I was told by two previous claim reps. In the last call they put a 24-48 hour alert which promised that I would get a call or email within 24 to 48 hours. NO RETURN CALL OR EMAIL. No reason given and was told there was no further status that they are still within 60 days. Interesting that the promise to call never showed up in the notes and the best Albert could do is to put another 24-48 alert on the claims and "someone would get back to me when they have time". This organization just lost a customer and will be losing a lot more. SIMPLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISGUSTING!

So easy to file and fast processing.

My dog was scratched by a cat and got Cat Scratch Fever and almost died. He has had this infection for a month now. The easy and speed of the pet insurance really was helpful.

Pet Insurance is a great decision

I am so thankful we have insurance on our dogs and cats. Our Siberian Husky got Pancreatitis and was very sick, he had to be hospitalized for 2 days. The entire ordeal cost us about $2000. Pet First processed our claim very quickly and we had a check from them before the credit card bill was due. The insurance gave us the piece of mind to concentrate on our dog's health and not worry about the money.

Pleased with overall service and communications.

The only complaint I have is the length of time (5 weeks) that it took to process several of my claims.Otherwise the service has been very good and I would recommend Embrace to another pet owner.

Claim processing seems to be getting even faster !
