I believe in health insurance for my family and myself, a very important part of my family is our cat. As he ages, he's 13, we know he will need more care. This year, he had a thyroid problem. We were able to provide the best care knowing we'd protected him with ASPCA. I was pleasantly surprised by the ratio of invoice to reimbursement as well as the quick response time. HealthyPaws insurance has been wonderful to our furry family. My Charlie had major leg surgery (front right elbow due to dysplasia) and is currently undergoing a six week recovery. I submitted the claims paperwork for 3 separate claims the same day as his surgery and have already received 3 separate reimbursement checks from HealthyPaws. They have been wonderful regarding communication regarding my baby (a GSD) and have inquired as to his recovery. I feel like everyone I have talked with at the company and extremely caring and very interested in my pets well being. I highly recommend HealthyPaws to anyone looking for pet insurance - one of the best investments we ever made for our babies.

I was reluctant to get dog insurance at first but we eventually decided to and then a year or two after that, my best friend was diagnosed with lymphoma. The doctor said on November 1st that it was unlikely he would make it out of November. We knew we didn't have the money to cover the cost of chemo but we wanted to try anyway and go through the insurance. They ended up covering most of it. I would guess that embrace paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $8000 between 2016 and 2017. We lost Loki to his cancer on June 20th, almost a full 7 months after when he was expected to make it. I could not possibly speak higher of embrace. I am now and forever will be a huge advocate for them. Embrace allowed me to create so many more amazing memories with the best guy I'll ever know. I am forever grateful.

Our one year old chocolate lab Bruno was diagnosed with knee dysplasia and needed arthroscopic surgery. Fortunately ,I purchased Healthy Paws pet insurance when he was a puppy. The surgery was very expensive and Healthy Paws reimbursed a large portion of the diagnostic tests, surgery and medications. It was easy to submit bills and we had a reimbursement check from Healthy Paws within a week. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws. Bruno is now on the road to recovery.

When I recommend Trupanion, I always caution that the Vet must be very specific about the issue as I was disappointed with my refund this past winter. Two different issues, but the VET still listed it as allergies. One visit was allergy but the next visit was infection. So I caution to be specific. YOu considered the infection as allergy related which it wasn't. I am considering cancelling my coverage and I have not enrolled my puppy yet. Waiting to see how you handle my current forms for reinbursement.
