My experiences with Trupanion have been really great, and I have shared with many people the story of when Ryder came very close to dying and the quick response I got from Trupanion when they were contacted. The only reason I would have Not to recommend Trupanion is the cost of the premiums. While it has certainly been worthwhile for us to have pet insurance for Ryder, the cost of the insurance would have far surpassed any vet bills that I have had for any dogs previous to Ryder. Many people simply cannot afford those additional premiums. However, apart from one year when Trupanion was a little more challenging to work with, the staff and the support have been tremendous throughout the other years. I am very happy to see that the customer service that I first experienced with Trupanion is back again! It is so nice to experience that type of customer care.

Claim was initially denied. Went through the appeal process through my vets office, and claim was then upheld. Very satisfied with the eventual outcome of my claim. Will recommend to friends.

I'm having monthly troubles with my credit card, for some reason your system is not remembering my new expiration date on my credit card so I get a monthly email reminder my payment has not been processed.

You all have been wonderful in the financial care of my pet. I have actually been blown away. My dog has had a few rough health patches and each time you have been there for us and I cannot thank you enough!!!! So grateful for you.

Turn around time between sending invoice and receiving check has been less than 7 days. I'm very appreciative of this effort on Trupanion's part to reimbursement in a time manner for my dog's medical treatments.
