Great pet insurance!

First time ever I bought insurance for a pet not knowing it would be the best investment I have ever made. Mia is now 3, I have had Embrace since she was 12 weeks old. Mia has been diagnosed with several problems, her medication runs around $230.00 a month, along with periodic tests. Embrace has reimbursed me 90% of my costs after my deductible was met. Thank goodness for Embrace.

Pleased with efficiency and speed of handling a claim

The coverage is good and claims are handled quickly and efficiently. I find the premium to be reasonable and feel this is a necessary expense for people who love their "family members". I would use ASPCA pet insurance for any animal I may have in the future.

Worth every penny, do your research!!

When I got my 8 week old, not only did my vet recommend Trupanion, but also my friend that had a mastiff. A lot of people get turned off by the prices, but do your research!!! Others that may be cheaper have a deductible per diagnoses PER YEAR! With Trupanion, you pay your deductible per diagnoses for the pet's life. The turnaround time is no longer than a week, even for new diagnoses and they even do direct deposit. I am extremely thankful for Trupanion.

easy claim process and friendly staff

I have a new puppy and have found the Wellness plan through Embrace to be a great financial tool for the high costs of vaccinations/vet visits/spay procedure and first getting a puppy off to a great start. The staff at Embrace have been very easy to work with and claims have been processed quickly. So far no complaints!

They really do pay

Trupanion pays as advertised. My dog had major surgery, and she also has SLO disease. Trupanion has come through both times. Submitting a claim is easy. They are very kind and helpful when you speak with them on the phone always.

Coverage

There should be more things covered under the insurance plan. There are new plans out there that even cover well visits and annual teeth cleaning and annual shots.

Great rep

The representative was very nice, in fact one of the nicest I've spoken with at Trupanion. It sounded like it was his first day, so he didn't have all the answers. He did get the manager for help. It turns out my issue was with how the vet's office mistakenly filed the paperwork. I was told to have them call back, but I wasn't given a direct line or a name to talk to when I asked for one. I also asked if he could make a note of our conversation for the next rep when the vet's office calls in which he was happy to do. The rep was truly a pleasure to work with. In cases like mine, a reference number or direct line would be best. Having to reexplain the same issue to multiple people is aggravating and time consuming. It's also complicated when so many people are involved - me, vet's office, reps at Trupanion.
