trupanion made the process very easy. If the rest of the insurance claims, etc is this easy there is no way I wouldn't recommend Trupanion. My experience with my last pet insurance company was less than great

Easy Claims Process
The Trupanion claims process is very simple. I scan in my vet receipt to my computer, then answer a few questions on the Trupanion website and upload my scanned receipt. I receive a confirmation that they received my claim and I usually have the money deposited in my bank account in a few days.

Information given to me in Veterinary office , Lost my previous pet to not having money to treat him and he bled out before my daughter was able to reach a vet who kindly put him down , however he was almost gone BEFORE and had suffered inhumanely ! I was hesitant to get another pet due to my financial situation ,but I was given a wonderful rescued dog whose previous owner took such good care of her but had to re-home her due to their two older rescued fur babies It was instant bonding and I was determine NEVER to have another fur-baby go through what my Scotty did . The gentleman (Dan) from trupanion was so kind, knowledgeable , thorough , gave me a wide selection of affordable deductibles and I chose one that fit my budget . I breathed an audible sigh of relief and know that Lucy is safe Thanks to Dan and trupanion
