Over the years I've used other pet insurance, including VPI, and since I found Pets Best I would never change to another carrier. Your employees are extremely courteous, considerate and knowledgeable. When I had an issue with an emergency and had to call poison control, my claim was declined, but most importantly, I received a telephone call to explain why (because my contact was not a licensed veterinarian) and what I could do in the future. This level of care is sorely lacking in the market place today, and it adds to the complete satisfaction I've had over the years dealing with this company. I always sense a level of compassion in my exchanges with personnel. Pets Best processes and pay claims extremely quickly and doesn't dicker like other companies do who want to get out of paying. I recommend this company to all my friends who are not insured (and even some who are). This company is truly a shining beacon in a marketplace that is so often frustrating and unsatisfactory.

The first representative I spoke to did not send me the cancellation email as we discussed. When I called back a manager handled everything for me.

Really easy process, super fast, easy 1.2.3! And made it so much easier for me when my pet needed surgery and i just couldn't afford it. I put it on the CC, and next thing you know, 90% is coming back. I am a happy pet owner and my cat got what she needed. a win/win.

Truepanion can only do as much as they can with the information that they receive from the vet my authorization for my Pat was delayed which I found out it was based on the fact that the final invoice which I have paid in full had not been forwarded to Trupanion Pet Insurance .

Finding it frustrating lately, we typically have great experiences but lately its been difficult. For example: we are prescribed a probiotic from our vet for allergies and its sometimes covered and sometimes not, and when not we have to appeal it. And the recent claim was a result of allergies but because it was described as the actual thing (cyst) we had to pay a deductible, which seems wrong to me.
