Claims are consistently processed swiftly and with ease.

Everytime my dogs have gotten sick or injured, Trupanion is quick to review and reimburse monies.

Good service. The reason I rated 9 instead of 10 is that my premium goes up every single year no matter how many or now few claims I have. I understand that as dogs get older they need more care, but the first few years (especially with shepherds) my premiums rose.

Have been very happy with Trupanion, the employees I have spoken with over the phone for the last seven years have always been highly professional as well as kind and compassionate. My dog passed away last night and Chantel was kind and sensitive on the phone. My claims experience has been good with my dog as well as a second dog and a cat. Claims are processed and paid fairly quickly, sometimes super fast...I have had some paid same day I submitted them. Even if your claim gets denied, there is an appeal process and your denial can be overturned if you have the documentation and get the correct info from your veterinarians to the underwriters. Some companies will go out of their way to deny claims and make you fight to use the coverage you paid for. Trupanion does not operate that way, they truly care about their policyholders and our pets. Of course it is a business, but I honestly do not think they are ever happy about denying coverage to anyone.
