Membership number: TU0002613562-02 Claim number: 8185861 I pay about 150 a month for both my dogs, I've had this policy for a long time and with other dogs. I'm not seeing any financial advantage maintaining this policy. I understand that most of the things are policy dependent for coverage, however it seems my policy only helps out later in the dogs life as illness happens. I'm going wait a few months and decide if I want to continue with the policy. Thank you for the opportunity to comment. Fernando Piza

Trupanion good but very expensive
Fast and efficient. Pity about the $500 deductible taken off a small claim! Given the monthly cost of pet insurance, this seems excessive. Why do you not consider scaling the deductible in relation to the size of the claim. e.g under $1000, $100 deductible, under $2000, $200 deductible and so on. Just a suggestion! Blue's Trupanion experience.
It has been a very positive experience with Trupanion ever since our cat, Blue, was diagnosed with arthritis. We joined Trupanion when we adopted her 9 1/2 years ago and it's only in the past 18 months that we have required your services. Our enrollment has been worth every cent! Thanks again.

Needed more deductible knowledge.
Trupanion is great and all. But it was unclear how the deductible worked. I thought I paid the $200 and then Trupanion started covering everything 90%. But that’s not how it works at all. Trupanion takes the $200 deductible from your bill. So it could be $50 on time, $75 another, $100 and then $25 another. Plus you’re still paying the full bill each time until the deductible has been covered. This was not clarified when I signed up so it was rather surprising.

Peace of Mind
Best company ever! Been a member since 2011, thankfully didn’t really need services until 2018 or so. So happy we have it, peace of mind as our precious Rosie has tests or needs meds. Highly recommend, easy to file claims, paid very quickly. If you need to ask questions they are answered quickly, company really cares.

New Client Enrollment
Enrollment & registration were so user-friendly and efficient. The plans offered allow for selection and customizing of the type of insurance that you want. When one has chosen a plan that suits one’s personal needs, the rest of enrollment is quite efficient and again user-friendly. And I really love the auto-pay feature. I think the entire process took me 10 minutes at most. The future seems to forecast the same type of efficiency in expediting claims processing if ever needed.

I’m not a computer user and getting my invoices attached to your email form has been impossible.
I’m not a computer user and getting my invoices attached to your email form has been impossible. I have written once including form and invoice. You ended up misplacing it. So I just went ahead and paid for Blu’s medication even though I was in my timeline. I have a hefty premium and a $500.00 deductible. Every one has been helpful with any of Blu’s maladies.

Save your money
I submitted a claim for my 6 month puppy and it took them over 2 months not 2 weeks like they state to get a rejection on my claim. They claimed my claim was pre existing….seriously my dog was 6 months old and had her first heat cycle which caused an irritating rash on her belly and they claimed it was pre existing and denied the $300 claim. I told them I wanted to appeal it and after 2 months after filing the appeal of Lemonade doing nothing they decided to close the claim. Now I was paying $92.59 a month for this insurance that claimed to pay claims in 2 weeks and they couldn’t pay a claim in 4 months. At $92.59/month for 12 months for 10 years the average life span for my dog, this insurance was going to cost me well over $11,1000 in my dogs lifetime. By Lemonade not doing their job and denying my claim it cost them $11,100 and saved me $11,100. I can put $92.59/month in a compound interest account and make more money than I was going to spend on Lemonade insurance. Not good business Lemonade. Denying a $300 claim cost you $11,100 in future revenue. Do the math.
