The cost of the monthly premium has…
The cost of the monthly premium has quadrupled since I bought the policy and it doesn’t cover routine visits. I pay far less for my health insurance and receive many more benefits

Hands Down the BEST Pet Insurance
I’ve been with Healthy Paws for over 15 years, and they’ve been absolutely incredible every step of the way. This past year has been one of the toughest for my senior dog—she’s battled a bone infection that may have reached her knee implant, histoplasmosis, and now bone cancer. Each diagnosis has been painful, expensive, and emotionally draining, but thanks to Healthy Paws, I’ve never had to hesitate about getting her the care she needs. Their claim process is effortless, their communication is clear, and reimbursements are unbelievably fast—often within just a couple of days. There’s never any hassle, never any runaround (which I have experienced with 3 other pet insurance companies over the years)—just genuine support and compassion. Because of Healthy Paws, I’ve been able to focus on what really matters: making my dog comfortable and giving her the best possible quality of life. The peace of mind they’ve given me during such a difficult time is something I’ll never forget. People often complain that premiums go up significantly as their pets age and that's true, they do. You have to plan for that. But I can tell you that in the past 10 months, our vet bills have totaled nearly $20,000 and Healthy Paws has reliably and quickly reimbursed us according to our plan, without fail!

Submitting claims online is super easy…
Submitting claims online is super easy w/Embrace. For the most part, their reimbursement amounts are pretty decent, & their customer service on the phone is very good. However, I just hope that they don’t jack up their monthly rates again in the spring like they did this last spring when my policy renewed. Fortunately, I was able to raise my deductible and bring the premium back down to a reasonable level….

Our Moment of Crisis
During our moment of crisis with our 4 year old Mini Goldendoodle, who suddenly experienced cluster seizures for the first time, we felt great relief knowing that we had pet insurance for our boy. The expense would have been so significant for our family without it. My advice to anyone on the fence about investing in a pet insurance policy because they worry “they may never use it”, would be to pray that they are never in a situation that you might need it. However, understand that without it, you may be forced to make decisions for your fur-baby not from your heart, but from your wallet, which may not be supportive of your hearts plan. No one expects to have a crisis, but we can be more prepared for it financially. The turn around time for reimbursement was almost immediate so we never felt the financial blow.

Absolutely terrible company!
Absolutely terrible company!! They just feed off of your fear for your pet. They certainly lack transparency and not only reset your deductible amount every year, within your specific billing period, but they up your insurance amount constantly for “inflation” with little to no other reason. I don’t even recall them sending a notice that my premium was going up, they just started increasing my payments. Even during the years where we haven’t even used the insurance,‘our premiums go up. PLUS they have a fun little policy where they charge you co-pay on your deductible amounts! I have had multiple bills at the vet that are $400-$500 where they only end up paying out about $50-$100 because they make me pay 20% of the entire bill PLUS remove $300 deductible after they’ve already reduced the amount of the bill that they will cover by 20%. They also never cover the cost of tax! They’re scam artists and I couldn’t caution against them more!!!! We’ll be cancelling our plan and just putting the monthly amount we were paying into a high interest saving account as a rainy day fund for our pet. It’ll work out much better for us at the end of the day as I believe it would be much better for 90% of the other individuals with Fetch Pet insurance

Easy to navigate and compare prices
It was very easy to switch between plan options and check prices and compare. Sadly my older dog does not let me qualify for a family plan, so I did have to do 3 separate plans- but the upside is that MetLife will cover my 13yo shih tzu when other companies will not underwrite.
