Pets Best IS The best!!!

Signup process is user-friendly, conditions, the rules are clear and explained well when they process the claim, fast claims processing. Buy the full wellness package it is worth every penny and more even for healthy dogs! I have had other pet insurance carriers who hide the whole facts about their payout policies, so always dig into the fine print if you aren’t going to use Pets Best!!

Excellent

I’m so glad to work with Pets Best Insurance. Their premiums are fair for the coverage,. My poodle has seizures and has multiple vet visits with her neurologist, regular vet (now called The Vets Mobile services),, and even random Emergency visits. Pets Best has been excellent with claim handling and reimbursements. They even help cover the multiple medications and refills for my girl. Ease of mind and comfort in knowing I’m not alone financially is a good feeling. Pets Best provides that for me. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate their services.

Happy to know we're covered!

There may have been claims I could have filed before but for some reason I thought I purchased only catastrophic coverage. I was telling a friend about my coverage and noticed it covered sick visits too. I work in insurance - I should know to read my policy! lol! I chose Pets Best because of the option of unlimited each year and their costs were close to the same as others that limit illness or injury to $1,500 or $2,500 a year. You know a torn ACL or other major thing could break the bank. I have a friend whose dog tore their ACL twice! I filed my claim for a trip to the vet when Olive had a cyst on her side and it even burst between the time I made the appointment and the day of the appt. I knew the cost and prescription would be under the deductible so I wasn't worried about a time-frame. They still handled it relatively quick, like a few weeks and even emailed me during the process. It's nice to know that they will be there with us if anything ever happens but I sure hope it doesn't! Pet's Best really has given me peace of mind!

The inception of the policy was anything but smooth

This policy was supposedly a VIP policy for costco members. They could not correct the address. Two phone calls placed to customer service resulted in wait times for over 8 minutes each. Hold times for info another 10 plus minutes. Received several emails asking for records and a waiver that would cost money for an office visit. This is probably the worst member deal at Costco. I have cancelled this policy by day 5. The representative would not refund the $15 enrollment fee. I could only imagine how awful the service would be after the 30 day mark. Shop around.

Blessing's Knee Surgery

When I initially chose to enroll with Pets Best, I was uncertain about the extent to which the policy would cover a significant claim. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. My dog, Blessing, required an extensive and costly knee surgery. Despite the high expense, the procedure was necessary, so I decided to put the insurance to the test. To my relief, the claim process was smooth and efficient, and I was reimbursed for nearly the full amount, minus the applicable deductible and co-insurance. I encountered no issues throughout the process and found Pets Best to be reliable and responsive in a time of need.

Best insurance for senior furbabies!

My household loves to adopt senior animals, but getting them health insurance can often be costly. PetsBest seems to be the one pet health insurance company that doesn't make health care coverage expensive due to the age of the furbaby. Filing claims is fairly straightforward, and they are pretty generous with how much they cover. Thanks to PetsBest, we can continue to spoil furbabies during their golden years without breaking the bank.

Name Should Be HartLESS

Like many others, my cats policies are being transferred from 24 Pet Watch to Hartsville and the experience has been an absolute horrible nightmare. Hartville has stated they intend to increase monthly premiums by 150% to 200% or more, literally doubling and tripling the price, and they have absolutely no problem in doing so, they are treating 24 Pet Watch customers like garbage, telling 24 Pet Watch customers take it or leave it and that they are doing us a favor, acting like we should be thanking them for taking over the policies and up to tripling the price. I'm terrified to find out what the claims denial process will be like because the experience with Hartsville has been a total nightmare. Their name shoudl be HartLESS,

They tripled the premiums for my dog from $74/month to $255/month and since they don’t sent statements I didn’t notice until I saw my bake statement and it was too late.

Happy Policy Holder

I was a naysayer about pet insurance after my experience with pet insurance about 20 years ago. A little over a year ago, after being prompted by my daughter, who is a vet tech, I did some research to find a company that offered policies for my dogs that I thought were worth the cost. I decided that Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was a reputable company that offered policies that I thought were worth the investment. I hoped to never need to file a claim but my English setter, Lola, ended up at a major university's veterinary hospital ER a few weeks ago. The good news is that Lola is now fine. The bad news is that her treatments in the ER and her hospitalization cost thousands of dollars. The other good news is that after filling a claim, which was easy to do, I received a check for a significant portion of the costs within a week. I am very pleased with my Healthy Paws policy and highly recommend them.

Vida's Injury

My 5 yr old greyhound chased a rabbit into our fence and she fractured part of her upper jaw and displaced her canine tooth. Because it was a traumatic injury, the surgery cost was covered, even though it involved removing a displaced tooth and I don't have dental coverage. I was thankful for the payment.

Quick and easy claims

My dog ate a sock and had a bowel obstruction so after a night of her vomiting we took her to the vet. I was at ease knowing that this incident would be covered by insurance and we could afford to do the best for Jewel. The process was fast and easy. I just took a picture of the receipt and uploaded it. We quickly got a response and the claim went through fast! I recommend PetsBest to everyone! Mainly as Jewel ages I have had to use it more and I know she will be around longer because we are able to afford her care!
