Waste of Money
One day these reviews programs will accept a ZERO stars review. This is the absolute worst insurance policy I have ever had. Every claim was denied nothing fit the requirements and the 2 "wellness" claims that were eventually approved were paid well below the supposed "90%" that the policy shows. Save your money go anywhere else for your pet insurance. Absolute and total garbage. And if you try to "contact" them be prepare to be on hold for hours. Stay away, Stay away

Great peace of mind!
Pet insurance was definitely a gotta have for the dog I adopted last year. In the past, emergency vet bills were absolutely budget busters. I compared a few different products, and Pets Best came out a winner. Competitive rates for the level of coverage that I was looking for. Best of all, Pets Best pays my claim directly to my Care Credit account, which is what I use for vet's bills. (You can choose where the reimbursement is applied.) Interesting, once I'm reimbursed for regular care (office visits, tests and meds), the insurance works out to be about $15 a month for emergencies, a very small price to pay for peace of mind. Very fast claim processing. My first was reimbursed within the week of our office visit. My most recent claim was paid the next day! Regular emails kept me informed of the progress, so there was no guessing where we were in the claim process. Reasonable cost, secure transactions, payment schedules that work for me, super easy claims process. Thanks, Pets Best! Highly recommend.
The insurance plan is awsome but...
The insurance plan is awsome. I have 100% reimbursement for my older pets, but the new kitten I got a new plan for I could only get 90% reimbursement, so I'm disappointed in that, but the plans are so good its still the best around. The only issues I have are constant confusion with the documents I send in. I'll see a claim on hold for missing documents, and I call in and no one can figure out what I'm missing, they say its all there and dont know why it was put on hold. It gets resolved but if I dont keep checking on my claims they'll never go through. Its happened 3 or 4 times now. Every one I've had to talk to have been very helpful, though you can tell they have a script to read at times which just sounds stupid, but again not a huge deal. When there talking about the actual issues its fine.

Absolutely unexplainable increase
Absolutely unexplainable. I’ve had two policy one for over 12 years that just experienced its second years highest rate increase.2014 $33 per month 2024 $175 per month 2025 $250 per month. Starting January 2026 they want $580 per month. How is this acceptable. My 7 year old dog with zero claims policy is going from $60 to $81. From $300 to $660 a month I’ll be better off self insuring but if I knew this is how Healthy paws operate id would have been better of self insuring.

Simple coverage for the most important stuff
Healthy Paws is a nice, simple, no-frills insurance provider, which is what we prefer. We'd rather pay a lower premium for unexpected issues than get all the bells and whistles covered. Healthy Paws pays out claims really fast--often within days. Submitting claims is easy. The coverage is fair and reasonable. So far, none of our claims have been unfairly declined. Goober is doing much better after the surgical removal of a foxtail from a lymph node in his neck. We are grateful that the exorbitant cost of pet care was one less thing we had to worry about, thanks to Healthy Paws.

Trupanion provides quick reimbursement
Trupanion provides quick reimbursement. The only downside is they do not pay toward the office visit, which in an emergency is quite pricey. Otherwise, it is a great choice for pet insurance.
