Insane renewal rates- 25% increase
The coverage looks good but after having this for only a year, we received a renewal for over 25% increase per month. My dog is very healthy and six years old. Never had to file a claim, but moving to just using a savings account versus shelling out $1289 a year in premiums and still handle a $1k deductible.

Don’t bother
Don’t bother. They didn’t cover anything at all. Appealed it and only got a letter saying it wasn’t covered - including the general exam. Save your money for the vet bill instead of paying this no good insurance.

Had to contact multiple times
When my pup contracted a respiratory infection, Figo dragged their feet and told me conflicting information. I kept getting emails that I did not have the required documentation yet when I would chat online with a representative I was told I did. The amount of documentation required was insane as well. I uploaded approximately eight different medical documents just for one single visit. I had to keep calling my Vet and asking for more documentation. at this point, my claim has not even been processed, and Figo gives a 10 day window to provide supporting documentation before closing the claim. I have one day left. I think they are trying to stall me until the window closes. do not recommend the monthly price they offered was too good to be true.

I would give this a 5 but I just signed up and have no idea how they will perform when I need them. Beyond that, they offer a vast array of coverage including unlimited which I need for my Savannah cat. Better safe than sorry paying a huge vet bill.

80% increase with no claims
PetsBest just raised my insurance by 80% when I had no claims in over two years! This is outrageous, and may be related to the fact it was sold to another company last year, so we can expect more denied claims as they try to increase profits. If you have a claim, they will never pre-approve it. Their tactic is "submit and then we'll see", so if they deny it, you will have to spend thousands out of pocket. Only had one claim about three or four years ago, and this was very unnerving. This 80% increase from one year to the next is the last straw. I cannot trust they won't keep doing the same. As it tends to happen, their support team was of no help.

Clear pricing and prompt claim reimbursement
The pricing is transparent to choose the level of coverage that fits your financial circumstances. Processing of claims is simple online, and the payment is prompt. I value pet insurance primarily for unexpected large expenses, such as my dog's recent foot surgery. It's nice to know the coverage is there when needed.
