Prompt payments - Continued Price Increases.
Filing claims is easy; prompt approvals and payments directly deposited into banking of choice. What I dislike is continued pricing increases. I have a senior family member. We have been paying into our insurance for years; hoping to never need it. Unfortunately our senior dog needs more assistance in his golden years. Last year they downgraded our plan and increased the price. Now they want another 25 percent increase ! ? I am held hostage to stay with them due to my dogs age. Not a very nice thing to do for a family.

Trupanion Gets 10/10
Trupanion gives me the relief of knowing that my German Shepherd is covered for medical emergencies. The knowledge that I can now afford what would have been an expensive Vet Bill. In the meantime all of her arthritis Rx including The Librela injections are reimbursed at 90% The deposit into my checking account is there usually the day after I file the claim. I will get another policy for any dog I’m lucky enough to have. Highly Recommend.

Peace of Mind
Pets Best lives up to their mission - we initially took out a policy, knowing that veterinary care can be costly, but never thought we'd be looking at a cancer diagnosis. It's a great peace of mind that we have the policy and our Luna's care is covered. We hope to have her with us for a long time, and this insurance policy makes that possible financially.

Puppy’s First Appointment
My puppy who is now 15 weeks old, went in for her first appointment to get her vaccines and a check up when she was 12 weeks old! It was a decent chunk out of my pocket and as a part time employee I knew insurance would be necessary in raising her so I could always ensure she'd receive the best care possible. She got everything she needed and it came up a little under $300. I got a little over $200 back and it really helped as I sometimes struggle to keep up on bills when such large expenses come up. It did take a few weeks for my claim to be processed and to receive my reimbursement but that's the only downside I've found so far. I think customer satisfaction would be much higher if Pets Best found a way to speed up the processing time significantly, without increasing the amount of claims denied like many other pet insurance companies have managed to do. Other than that, filing my claim was easy and for the time being, I have not had any issues with the company cutting too many corners to avoid helping me and my pup out to the extent that my policy requires. I hope that I continue to have good experiences with Pets Best but I also hope that the processing time of claims will decrease over time whilst maintaining the same standard!

Great to have 80% coverage
Great to have 80% coverage, minus exams. Really saved me a lot of $$$’s. And piece of mind that I can afford to get all the diagnostic tests my little guy needed.

Not up front and direct about pricing
Not up front and direct about pricing. It was not clear what I would be charged. It thought I signed up for $28/paycheck or $56/month. Now the quote shows $750 annually which doesn't add up. It also wasn't clear on deductible and I wasn't aware there was a deductible.
