Thankful for the Coverage
The claim was easy to complete and submit and I recieved quick payment as reimbursement. I am thankful that FORLs are covered since I know sometimes dental issues can be a different story. I do wish that MORE of the expenses had been covered but I guess every little bit helps.

I am very pleased with the insurance plan I chose for my cat. I like the wellness plan because I want to give my cat the preventative treatment he needs to stay healthy. Nationwide has exceeded my expectations. In fact, I've now enrolled all my cats in the wellness program! :)

So glad I purchased Nationwide Insurance for my dog. So easy to pay since its deducted from my paycheck. Ivr had to take my fog to the vet a few times and its cost me well over 500 dollars. I have the app, so sending my claims are so easy and convenient, the processing time is reasonable, and the reimbursement is convenient as it is deposited right to my account. I've also called the vet line and have no complaints there either. I feel that my dog is covered well with nationwide. I am aware not everything is covered. So far, most of my dogs treatments and meds are. I've recommend Nationwide to friends with pets and will continue to do so. Thank you.

Great Insurance but high premiums
We have used VPI / Nationwide Pet Insurance for 13 years. Our only complaint is the premiums jump so much they older the pet gets. For instance, between age 12 & 13, it is jumping almost $30 per month for our renewal. This is over $1000 per year + the $500 deductible. This is making it a choice we need to revisit upon renewal.

The Claim was painless
The Claim was painless, the phone gets answered by a an actual person 24 hours a day. I was in the 24 hour emergency vet with our puppy who had broken his leg. The surgery was $6983.41 and we were covered. There was a guy in there with a 6 yr. old dog who also had a broken led. he did not have insurance or enough cash. they put his dog down. I will never not have pet insurance. it is the best investment I made all year.
